Outstanding suggestion! I used the HarperCollin Study Bible in Seminary (actually, it was required). To have their notes (don't need the full text of yet another NRSV) would be a real boon

Absolutely interested! Outler (and of late Heitzenreiter) knew (know) Wesley (perhaps better than he did himself).

Brazos Press is a "Division of the Baker Publishing Group." And, as Logos has a long and extensive relationship with Baker -- might I then suggest an extended relationship with Brazos would be a welcome addition to the meager repertiore of Catholic, Orthordox, and Mainline Protestant material that has (IMHO) too small a representation in the vast number

Ah, it has now found the file -- after a system reboot, and restarting L4 a couple of times, it did go into its "preparing your library" and started reindexing. So, it's back, and all is well. Blessings to all and thanks Dale

When we started with L4, even during beta testing, I had both my NASB and my NASB 1995 update. The earlier NASB was not always the easiest to locate, possibly because it was based on the older file system and had no cover icon to display. Nevertheless, it was there. Now, this morning. I was working on a default, startup, desktop arrangement and wanted
There's been a number of resource updates during that period, which is the reason for the long download. The program download itself should only take a few minutes (it's only 36Mb).
Hi Mark -- actually the 16 gb download was because the update to 4737 failed -- it kept asking if I had permission to install to a directory

Dear Logos Tech -- Thanks for release (3737) -- that's fixed the problem with the missing shortcuts. Appreciate it very much. My laptop's still reinstalling because it didn't like going from SR-7 all the way to 3737, but it's been downloading all for the past 8 plus hours and should be through by noon today ;-) Thanks again -- when I get to work this

Hi again Thomas, "System Tools shows: Use Internet -- is that the "sync" of which you're speaking? The problem certainly appears on both my home and office computers. And, the problem did not appear on either machine until after the update -- e.g., I started L4, had my shortcuts. I updated at the parsonage, and lost my Shortcuts. I went to the church

Thomas, I'd be happy to post a log file. I enabled logging, started L4, let it crash, waited until it closed, and I'd love to post the file that should have been created. The instructions say the log's in My Documents/Logos Log Files, but the only files there are from the Beta testing cycle. I've searched my system looking for the log files and nothing

OK Mark, you've piqued my curiosity. Where do I (we) find the "Bible Search Analysis" that you find so fascinating?? OK Mark, you've piqued my curiosity. Where do I (we) find the "Bible Search Analysis" that you find so fascinating?? I don't find it in the Tools or Guide menus; don't even find it the Help feature. It's sorta kinda like the line from "the Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" -- "you can't just say his name was Tom Donaphan and leave it at that." You can't
Jerry, What I think I see is that it has to do with the stripping out of the verse numbers. It seems to also take out the space. I don't know if it is simply a bug or there's a work around outside of including the verse numbers.
When using the Bible Text Only style, in the case of "The Message" there's definitely

Just tried a CBV request on "Rom 3:23, 6:23" with the "Bible Text Only" setting. CBV concatenates the verses thusly: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. A CBV request for "Isa 9:2-7; Tit 2:11-14" (from tomorrow lectionary reading) concatenates

Oh, and L4.0a also crashed when I tried to place the UMRCL on the shortcut bar.
-
When I fired up L4 this morning, it installed and loaded 4.0a (4.01.3.4533). Thanks for the update == this restored the ability to copy multiple verses in CBV, for which I'm very grateful. However, the upgrade also wiped out my existing shortcuts, and when I tried to put the CBV icon on the shortcut bar, the program crashed. When I restarted L4.0a I

I guess what I'm hearing, and gleaning off hand via the Logos Blog is that I can leave my orders alone (and they'll come home, wagging their tails behind them). If they come on a CD, install them on a machine running L3, then run L4 and let them download (which they would have done anyway). This is probably a better route to take than trying to manually
