  • Re: Tabbed Layouts. . .

Hello, After several days of using the floating windows tab, I think this might work for me for now. However, I need more memory, but this cannot be fixed on the forum, only by me buying a new computer. Sigh. . . More money to spend . . . [:'(] I have opened about three floating windows and it works very well for me. Thanks everyone. . . Blessings.

  • Tabbed Layouts. . .

Greetings to all. . . Maybe I'm being too picky, but does anyone know how to have more than one layout in memory? In other words, if I have a History layout and a Theology layout, am I able to have both layouts in L4 so that I am able to do a ctrl+tab and move between them? Or. . . how about having more than one layout with a title block in a tabbed

  • Re: I am curious to know How much dollars some one could have invested to logos Bible software.

Hi Tes, Greetings in Jesus' Name. Wonderful Name. I must say that Logos is divinely sent by the Lord to those who know a good tool in the study of Scriptures. To me, it is so valuable, it has no value in dollars. This said, I've invested in this tool in ten years close to $7,000, not including the bids I have pending which add up close to $700.00! In

  • New Books on Logos 4

Greetings everyone. . . In the past several days, I've bought a good amount of books. I'm trying to see them in the library tabs. However, sometimes, I just missed them because of the amount that are in the drop down menu. Is there a way in L4 that I can know when a new book has downloaded without having to go to the website and look at the tab where

  • Context menu question. . .

Greetings, When using L4 and looking up a word by right mouse click, the context menu appears and there are several options at the right. One of the options is Lemma, as we all know. However, at the bottom left of the menu there are other options within the Lemma choice. Is it possible to add more books to these choices in the bottom left menu? I hope

  • Re: Almost there. . . but not there. . . Dot net problems.

Dave, Sorry for not responding sooner. Was working on this issue patiently. I did not have to uninstall L4. All I did was to reinstall .Net 3.0, 3.5 and any other SP's needed. After this, L4 worked well. I downloaded the latest version by a small utility for software upgrade. It helped me download faster, quite faster. Indexing was done quickly with

Hi Dave, Thanks for responding. I will look at the log files tomorrow evening my time. EST. I did not re-install L4, should I re-install? I tried as one of my steps, but it did not allow me to do so. Thanks. Al

  • Almost there. . . but not there. . . Dot net problems.

Greetings all. . . Several weeks ago I ran into a monumental problem with my system and the .Net framework. I've read several of your suggestions, which by the way, some worked and some did not, but to all 'thank you'. I've removed all .net fx installations. Interestingly, in using the cleanup tool, it did not removed all the .net fx!! I still have

  • Re: Perpetual indexing .... my patience is just about out!

Ahhh, yes. . . the days of Libronix 3 !!!! I miss them. So easy to use. . .bible study was efficient and fast. And yes. . . no indexing. No large downloads, most resources were on CD's. I know your pain. . . better days are coming. . . Logos will fix these ills with L4 and we will be rejoicing in the use of a powerful tool. In the meantime, . . . God

Melissa, Thank you. I have already downloaded the files from the site you referenced. I will try this later in the week. It seems that this will take some time. It's funny because my Libronix 3 still works very well. I'm still at a loss as to why Logos would depend on something like .Net framework, when this layer of software seems to give many people

Greetings and Salutations. . . I posted this in the general forum, but got only one response. Maybe I posted it in the wrong forum, so I'm trying this one. I pray someone reading this may have a suggested solution. My system: Windows XP SP3. Have .Net 1.0, 2.0-SP2, 3.0-SP1, 3.5-SP1. Several days ago my .Net framework became corrupted when the automatic

Thank you Fred, I read the threads above, but I must say that I do not have the .Net framework 3.5 SP2. In fact, this was the update it was trying to install but never did. I have the SP1. However, I do have the .Net V3.0 SP2. However, I do not think this is the problem. Thank you much. . . Eis Cristos Al
