Hello Brisa, I have done this and I get that no updates are available. Any suggestions or any light on this?? Thanks Al

M.J. I hear you. I thought, (I might not be up to date on these things), XML is already a smooth way for data integration. Something that can make Logos more portable, at least the data produced. Either way, it seems like Logos will not at this time design an integrated study environment. This would be outstanding with workspaces. Thank you. . . Eis

Alabama24. . . Yes, you're correct. My bad for being inconsistent with my words. I understand the problems with having multi-users in Logos. However, I wanted originally to have my wife and I as users within the environment of workspaces. This is what I was and have been trying to convey. My apologies for not being consistent. Indeed, I am not complaining

Joshua, I agree with you on the point of layouts. I use as much of Logos as I can. The more I use it the more ideas come up as to how to manage many resources. But you know, maybe one day Logos will allow the public interface API to be made available. I would be willing to develop something like this for my own use. I do this now for AutoCAD in my workplace

I truly understand what you are saying. However, I'm not suggesting in any way to break laws. I want ME to be able to have different WS because this is the way I now use other software. WS is a practical way of keeping orderly resources being used and recorded. I'm not necessarily speaking of two users. It just so happens that I mentioned my wife because

Alan, Thank you for your clearing up this situation. Let me give you a scenario: I'm home from work. I go to my PC and Logos is always up and running. I do reading, research, and more. I then tell my wife, "Honey would you please find out what the word 'Law' is the dictionary on Logos. She comes and does the search and stores the search in a layout

Hi Dave, I went to the site and followed the instructions, but somehow I do not see the display in my computer as the instruction says. For example, I do not see the "highlighting palette such as Highlighter Pens" anywhere in my display. I'm sorry but it does not work as stated in the instruction. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Either way, I did

Hi Ben I don't have L5 yet, but I will have it in a few days. But I do have a question. How about having a display of all the highlights I've made in my books. For example, If I have accessed 100 books and I have highlighted at least 100 lines in every book, and I wanted to search all my highlights, well that would be 10,000 highlights. Is there a way

Hello Philana, Thank you for your response. I want to be able to access all my layout of different books on the screen from within one workspace. Why? Because with one workspace I can have many other resources within the grasp of the screen without having to hunt, if you will, for other resources. Make sense? For example: If I can create a workspace

Hello Peter, If I may just sing along with you on this question. I too have studying aggresively this divine reality of our Three Person God. The way I am able to understand this mystery (God is a mystery, but not mysterious) of our God is in the following manner: We are all human beings. On planet earth there is but 'one' human race, one human kind

Hi Richard, Thanks very much for your response. In reference to the one user several workspaces, I have one copy of Office 2010 under my name. However, my wife uses my computer. It is not against the law to have more than one user in one computer at home. I am not saying that I will have more than one computer for different people using L5. It is one

Greetings to all . . . I have a few questions to all and to the L5 team. . . (I just lost my previous composition because of a bug either in explorer or this site) I have L4 and am planning to upgrade to L5 very soon. In my using L4 I have accumulated over 3600 resources and continuing to purchase more before I retire. . . I use L4 everyday and read

Dave, Thank you for your response. I will give this a try. However, I do wish that L4 or L5 would simplify the process with only the right click making available any menu item needed for the task at hand. Again, I've used other bible programs in which highlighting and searching items were done with only one right click. I'm sure that Logos has the skills

Greetings, I have a question on highlighting. I did go to the forum concerning this topic but did not find anything on it. Here is the condition of my question: having over 3500 books, I sometimes study using several books at once. I might find good comments on several books. I then highlight the comments within the books. I may end up highlighting

I've tried this already. I went to Staples and looked at several monitors. But they all had poor fuzzy text. And the salesperson did not take any effort in showing me the best monitors. He really didn't care if he didn't sell any of them. So, I did not buy one. I'm still looking for a monitor. It's a long process. Thanks. Al

Hi Toughski, I have done all these things you mentioned. I do have a decent office and furniture. Even my keyboard is ergo. Still the monitor has been a poor resource. The text is poorly drawn on the screen. My resolution is max. Still the text looks poor. I am still looking for a good monitor. There's a sea of monitors and it is not an easy task looking

Greetings, I don't know if this is the proper place but it being the General category, I'm hoping it is a qualified question. I recently bought a new PC with a little more power than my old one. I actually bought it for the specific purpose of using it for Logos bible study and reading. The following is my machine: 3.2 GHZ 64 Bit Win 7 32 GB RAM Intel

Hello, Yes, I am using the reverse interlinear ESV. I did what you suggested and it worked as you stated. This is fine for me. Thank you much. God Bless. Al

Greetings, Several days ago, I had a problem with L4, someone graciously helped me solve the problem. However, I noticed (unless I'm totally confused and have not noticed it before), that in the NT in the interlinear view at the bottom I have Stong's and Louw-Nida. But in the OT, I only have Stong's and not Louw-Nida. When I click on the display options
