• Re: Ideas for Book Reading List

Lots of good ideas. I'm particularly intrigued by the idea of a favorites list. I really have to stop thinking of that feature as favorites and instead something like the "organizer" because that's really what it seems to do. I tested and see that I can create quick reading list folder and then drag books to it from my library. I can even reorder them

  • Ideas for Book Reading List

Since I seem completely unable to stop buying new books, I find I have a rather large number of books in my virtual to read pile. Sometimes I buy a new book and want to put it near the top of my books I want to read, which got me wondering if there are any clever ways in Logos to create a flexible reading list beyond a basic note with all the books
Thanks for the feedback, Rob. I completely agree we need to solve this. I’ve outlined these (among other) priorities for 2019: Significantly grow our digital book catalog. Make new books available at the same time as their print and Kindle release. Make them discoverable from a single store. Make them available

  • Re: Questions about the Atlas

It seems the atlas markers are placed next to individual city names and so I would expect them to center on that city (Biblical place object) that the marker was adjacent to in the text. Strangely, when I went back to look at this again today, all the atlas markers are gone from that passage, even though Logos is set to display in the visual filters

  • Re: Problem with Monthly classic book coupon

I missed the obvious. The monthly email had the same code listed for both original and classic and I was just copying and pasting them without checking them. I change the code to classic and it worked, thanks!

  • Re: Problem with Monthly classic book coupon

Still no go. Trying to use it on Spurgeon's Matthew commentary: https://www.logos.com/product/6797/the-gospel-of-the-kingdom-a-commentary-on-the-book-of-matthew This should qualify, but just says invalid code. Is there a way to verify my code is still available to use?

  • Problem with Monthly classic book coupon

Hello. It's that great time of the month when I get to dig through the classic works and find a gem to use my connect classic book coupon on. Sadly, this month the coupon doesn't seem to be working. I've tried several books from the list (linked via email) and all show invalid code. I had no problems with my current book of the month coupon. Is anyone

  • Questions about the Atlas

Hello. I was reading through 2 Timothy 4 today (ESV) and noticed several Atlas markers because of the several cities listed in that chapter. Out of curiosity (Having never done much with the Atlas before), I clicked a couple of them to see what opened. Each time the Atlas opened with the current verse populated in the search, but the map just opened

  • Re: Passage list support?
Were you using Google search? Using the search string - site:community.logos.com "passage list" mobile - in Google resulted in a number of discussions on this and requests for this functionality.
Sadly no, I wasn't, but I clearly will be in the future!

  • Passage list support?

Hello. I've never really used the mobil app (Android) before but have started to look into it. I've noticed that my passage lists do not show up under documents. Is this document type not supported? Am I missing something simple? If this isn't supported, then this is a pretty big deal breaker for me to use the app. Note: I tried to search the forums

  • Re: SUGGESTION: Biblical Entity Guides (Event, Person, Place, Thing)

I agree. Images are almost always the last thing I am interested in and since they are so large, take a lot of scrolling.

  • Re: Quick toggle parallel

That is sometimes helpful, but my keyboard has shared media/function keys so can be awkward at times. It also shows only one verse at a time, which is often only part of a thought or even sentence. I think the multiple resources tool really nails this perfectly, I would just like to see the same behavior on the parallel tool.

  • Re: Quick toggle parallel

That is handy, but my keyboard requires a function key to be pressed to get to the F keys making it a little awkward. It also only shows one verse at a time, which sometimes cuts off parts of sentences/thoughts. I would still like to see something integrated into the toolbar as I usually keep my hand on the mouse while reading and so that ability would

  • Re: Quick toggle parallel

Thanks! That definitely helps make parallel resources more efficient and I will certainly start using that, but I would still like a way to have it display in a separate popup or pane so I can quickly compare my prioritized version and a parallel version side by side with minimal fuss to my layouts

  • Re: Logos 8 Features
Keep Favorites in your layout, and just drag the book's tab into Favorites. You can create folders for different types of 'bookmarks', and drag it into a folder.
While this works, it isn't very efficient and requires a lot of clicks and panes opening to accomplish something relatively simple. I would like a single

  • Quick toggle parallel

I like how some of the tools in Logos 8 work on a quick toggle premise. Tools like the search, the interlinears, and multiple resources display only require a single click to enable or disable the feature. This allows them to be quickly referenced, and then closed to 'get out of the way'. I think it would be very helpful if the parallel versions offered

  • Re: Can Logos show 'ACTUAL' discount rate at the product page
are you saying you'd prefer to see the % you save based on dynamic pricing and the % you save based on the sale as separate values instead of included in the single "You Save" price at the bottom? We're showing the $ savings from the sale vs dynamic pricing in red. Just clarifying that the combined % is the issue? [/quote

  • Re: Can Logos show 'ACTUAL' discount rate at the product page

Definitely agree. I usually have to look at each item's price listing in a bundle and compare the normal price to try and figure out what discount there is, if any.
