Ctrl-Shift-i does enough of what I wanted. Thanks!

  • Quickly find info on open resource

Hello. If I have a resource open and I want to quickly look up the resource in the library tab, is there a quick way to do so? So far the only way I've found to do this is to remember the name and type it myself into the library search field. It would be nice if there was a right-click or other option to open a resources details in the library for prioritization

Great, than you both. This gives me some new things to work on so that is helpful.

  • Re: Bible sense search 'remember'

OK, so I see the sense has to match an existing 'periscope', which I assume is like a specific context. I see when it built the search this way it omitted an equals sign (<Sense to be remembered>). Is equals assumed if no sign is entered? I read a tilde is an option to get a more broad match of (around) a meaning. I experimented to see that I

  • Bible sense search 'remember'

Hello. I've reviewed the wiki for search on Bible Sense searches and I'm having trouble with a search. I want to find all the senses of 'remember' but am coming up with nothing when I enter a search with: <Sense = remember> I would expect it would at least return every verse with the base word remember in it even if it did not find any other sense
But doesn’t Factbook give you what you need for this?
I'm thinking about experimenting with different collections that are geared towards different types of articles and results that might be helpful. Never done it before so we'll see if it turns out to be helpful or just more legwork.

  • Re: Targeted Search help

Both collections and the factbook give me much better results. I thought that doing a person search would give results from the factbook, but clearly it wasn't. I hadn't thought about collections for this type of search. Have a lot more organizing to do. Thanks!

  • Targeted Search help

Hello. I've never done much with advanced searching, but know I need to learn more in this area. The few times I've tried it in the past didn't turn out too productive, but I would like to improve my knowledge in this area. I wanted to do some basic research on Jeremiah the prophet, so I turned to Logos to see what it could do for me. After a little

  • Re: What is your favorite feature?

I think this thread is very revealing and I hope Faithlife is paying attention. I love how simple and efficient the new context menu makes my Logos work flow. Before, I often felt like I was fighting against the program to get some basic operations done. I hope the context menu is the first in a line of usability focused updates and a rethinking of

  • Re: Clipping or note?

Ok, thanks for letting me know how best to do this. I tested with a note and it seems to work well enough as it did make a link in the note to the correct place in the commentary I was wanting it to reference.

  • Clipping or note?

Hello. I have a question about how best to link to a commentary resource in my library. What I want is whenever I come to a passage in a Bible, I see an icon that references and displays a clipping from one of my commentaries. I'm not sure if I can use a clipping to accomplish all of this or if I need to create an actual note and just paste the commentary

  • 9Marks Journals update needed

Hello I would really like to see updated 9Marks journals available in Logos. It looks like it has been several years since any new volumes were added. I have all the ones currently available, but would love regular updates to this similar to how Themelios has.

Thank you Faithlife for a fantastic update that simplifies some of my workflow. Having highlighting instantly available without having to have an extra pane open is fantastic. Even better is the ability to instantly add highlighted verses to a passage list without having to first go open the passage list. This is an update that was clearly focused on

  • Re: MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO "SURFACE PEN"

I think this is one area Logos appears to be a little blind to. They have made statements that features such as this are not common among their user base, but if you want to expand your user base to more casual church members, interface and intuitive features such as a pen usage seem the path to get there. Having users see bible study with an intuitive

I'm seeing the same issue. I don't know that my startup is taking any longer than before I saw the message start appearing, it's almost like something in the program changed that makes the dialog appear sooner than before so now it happens on every startup.

Ok, things got strange. Turns out there is more inconsistency here than I realized. When I started Logos it opened to my set layout in the location I had last left it in. Great! Then I did some other things in Logos and later wanted to go back to the layout, so I opened it from the layout menu. It opened the layout to the original location of where
