• Re: When was first Gospel written and what was it?

The Dead Sea Scrolls discoveries included several documents that could be dated no later than 68 AD which include (you will have to weigh the argument/counter argument for yourself) portions of the Gospel of Mark. It's all fragments but if it is reliable, it would put Mark at a vary early date. The unfortunate part about dating text is the amount of

I'm conservative when it comes to my information being shared or published and yet I do not have any issue at all with Logos using my data within the cloud. Zachary: Greetings and welcome to the forum! The Faithlife Study Bible is a publication of Logos and not a community driven Bible (although they do appreciate feedback!). I have found it to be mostly mainline Protestant Evangelical although some have mentioned it may have a bias towards Calvinism. That may or may not influence your desire to use it

I am often reminded that feelings and the truth not always align well. I'm in no way trying to downplay how you feel but Bob's statement indicates that the truth of why they are not currently offering it to the public. I am grateful everyone had a great experience and enjoyed OL, but, again, Bob's stated purpose is not to dismiss anyone. Ted, your real
I have a suggestion about a solid (and fun) way Logos could implement this. It could also lay the foundation for Logos to do something much more with it. Anyone want to hear it?
The suspense is killing us! :D

I'm in agreement with Mark especially. Two small things were also mentioned I don't think should be glossed over, although may not be completely related - more Lexham products in core packages (makes up for some of the weaknesses and cost control as it's a Logos generated product) and a "pre-pub" like system to help cover cost. I'd pay a one time fee

Now that I own almost every big purchase I could want (minus anything coming off pre-pub/community pricing), I'm not sure what I'd want. Maybe a flat percentage off per $ spent. The journals might be nice but, to be honest, I'm pretty set :)

I just got James and Mark downloaded. To be honest, I'm not impressed and I am considering returning them. Anyone else have a chance to look at them? It's almost the exact same situation as the Lexham Bible Guides - to someone who knows how to use Logos well, it's more like fluff. Let me know: I'm interested in others opinions.

Hey PL! ScriptureTyper is pretty good. If you can log into the web version of the product (free) you may be able to drop in other language characters. I can try Greek tonight if you'd like me to do so. I also like Memorize which is a voice recording memorization app. Finally, I like "Fighter Verses" as well which comes from John Pipers church :)

Jason: I agree with you - I want to memorize books and chapters, not individual verses. I posted a suggestion having that feature but have not received a response. There are some programs you can download and use. Do you own an iOS device? There are some great memorization programs and some voice memorization programs you might find helpful.
