• Re: Prayer Frequency Options - Sticky (Logos 4.5 Beta 12)

I get that sometimes in my library or when I've hovered over certain window's / hyper links. I usually have to click off the program and then click back onto an open, active pane.

  • Word Counts in Books of the Bible

I have a specific need for a way to get word counts from specific books in the bible. I'd prefer in the original languages if possible. For example, I am working on Ephesians right now. I'd like to see a list of all words, apart from conjunctions and articles, that Paul used. I found, for instance, that ἀκούω is used five times in the Epistle which

  • Different M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plans

Did anyone else notice the M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plan in Logos is different from the one in the ESV found here: http://www.esv.org/assets/pdfs/rp.one.year.tract.pdf ? I'd rather do the ESV one if possible - does anyone know a quick way to translate that into Logos?

  • Re: How can a create a vocabulary list by frequence of a new testament book?
Trying to do this method in anything but the GNT is a nightmare. For example, in the Apostolic Fathers or the Works of Philo there is no option to search within individual books or works so the vocabulary (especially in Philo) is ENORMOUS. I started my Philo search at 10:30 and it is now almost 10:45 and Logos is still working! My

  • Re: How to use my Logos Christmas Credit?

Terence: They have not yet started to process the credit's for availability to use on resources. I saw a post stating they would start to process those today. However, I don't believe they will be available until next month (waiting for the return policy to expire on the resources you purchased).

  • Re: How do you plan on spending YOUR Christmas credit?…

I'm hoping to pick up WBC w/the upgrade, additional dictionaries (ISBE, IVP), Grudems, HALOT, the Biblical Counseling Bundle with Jay Adams books, the Piper Sermon Series, possibly the Tozer series, and hopefully the Jonathan Edwards set if I can get an excellent price on it when it's published :D
trolls
Just because I have a wart on my nose doesn't give you the right to say such thing! How dare you accuse me of eating children, knocking down cottages, and the like! I'll have you know, I'm quite a respectable person in my community of ogres. And by the way, at least I'm not a lump like you!

It's a series of tools that will all mesh together to allow lots of collaboration. Wait for the announcement. Once everything is up and running, I think you will see it's a completely different beast all together.

Hmmm, yes. When I read the comment about Edward's sermon, I didn't want to say anything to stir theological controversy. But I do wonder if George ever read that sermon, because there is no mention of an ogre, but there is a lot about God's longsuffering, mercy, and grace. The only ogres I see
