• Re: NASB95 lemma search empty!

Hi Rick, I had the identical problem. Here is my solution, thanks to Tech Support. It requires a bit of knowledge about files in Windows. http://community.logos.com/forums/p/63653/453498.aspx#453498

  • Re: Hebrew lemma/morph search NASB95, no results

Sorry I didn't return to this earlier but life continues and this became a lowere priority till today. I did do the re indexing as suggested but it didn't help. I figured the new update that Bradley mentioned would solve my issue; it didn't. I called Tech Support today. She told me that I had an older resource (NASB95) and simply deleted it in the resources

  • Re: Hebrew lemma/morph search NASB95, no results

I appreciate your help. I keep my machines up to date so, yes, they are both on the same build (4.61.0.3387) and they are both Logos 4. My laptop is windows 7 while the desktop is XP but I don't think that would be the problem. I am rebuilding as we "speak" so I'll let you know of the outcome.

Hi Graham, Here is the screenshot of the NASB95 search followed by the same search using ESV.

  • Hebrew lemma/morph search NASB95, no results

On my desktop computer I get zero results whenever I do a "Search this resource" for a Hebrew lemma or a Hebrew morph search. The search works normally with the English text. It works fine using NKJV or ESV. It also works fine on my laptop. Seems to be an issue on just the one computer for NASB interlinear only. Is there anything I can do to get it

  • Re: copying "LORD" becomes "Lord" when pasted

I've just discovered this problem in Word2010 also. I changed the settings in "File>Options>Advanced>Cut,copy, paste>Pasting from other programs" and it solves the problem as long as "Merge Formatting" is NOT selected. Somehow the Merge option removes the capitalization of the entire word and only capitalizes the first letter. I was also using the paste

  • Re: Recommendations For A New Laptop

Thanks Richard, the Logos mandate of dropping XP is nudging me to launch into modern times I do know that the hard drive seems to be the key to speedy Logos as I put a 7200 rpm in my laptop and it made a big difference...and also at draining my battery faster . Looks like it will be Intel then.

How about the AMD processors? I heard that the graphics processing was much improved. What resolutions are a problem? I am also contemplating a new laptop and these suggestions are a great help.

  • Re: How to make symbols in LOGOS NOTES

Hi Tom. If you are running Windows you can use a little tool called "character map" under START> accessories>system tools. Just select the desired font then find the ē and select it followed by copy. It is now on the clipboard and you place your cursor in Notes and paste (right click or CNTRL V). There might be other ways but this one works for me for

That is actually an option for you since you can still download L3 from Logos -- I know since I just did when I got a new computer. I believe you would qualify as a new user since you apparently don't have L3 on your computer now. http://www.logos.com/support/downloads/ldls
George is

  • Re: A Comedy of Errors?

Thanks Richard, I made the window much smaller and found that you are right, it was fine so my assumption about that was wrong. I tried adjusting the width while Rev 18:20 was not showing and then scrolling down to it and at certain widths it would crash. It seems that this occurs at certain window widths and not simply when the highlight area is smaller

  • A Comedy of Errors?

I did try to search for this issue without success so I turn to the community. I can duplicate a freeze up of Logos 4 which, I believe, is caused by two different issues. I discovered it as I was searching for the Greek lemma "to judge" in the NASB 1995 . I was displaying the search results in a slightly narrow " Results " window and in the " Aligned
Can you consider to the following: Some way of sorting of the Build List: automatically (Genesis to Revelation for commentaries and Alphabetical order for others) or manually, to allow items in build list to be re-ordered via drag and drop.
If laptop has a 5400 RPM drive, upgrading to 7200 RPM should be noticeably faster in many applications, including Logos 4. Solid State Disk (SSD) is faster; speed improvement varies from a little to a lot, depending on SSD model.
I did upgrade my 5400rpm HDD to a 7200 rpm on my older Dell laptop and noticed

  • Re: Computer shutting down during indexing....

I had the same problem with a laptop similar to yours. I had to take it apart and found a layer of dust had formed on the cooling fins or fan screen that was like a piece of felt which was blocking the air flow. Once removed I've never had the problem. Dell has service manuals for download for most laptops on their Support site if you are a dauntless

Hi Jeff, Don't panic, this is a piece of cake if you have a broadband internet connection and know your user ID and password. I've had to do this several times now. First download the base package here (you can also read the official way to install): http://www.logos.com/windows/support/install Next, when you run the newly installed Logos4 program,

  • Re: WHY can we not copy a word on the screen?

Denise, I admit that I am somewhat ignorant on the inner workings of Logos and since I have never owned Libronix products I can't address all the issues, but I can match the interlinear quote using my "vending machine". All it required was to adjust the "Display" menu in the pane to show "English literal translation only". The "Copy Selection" preview

  • Re: WHY can we not copy a word on the screen?

This aspect of Logos 4 is one of my favorites (sorry Denise) since I look at it as my personal "vending machine" for copying. I highlight a word, a sentence, paragraph, verse or multiple verses and then RIGHT CLICK on the selection area. I now have my "vending machine" copy selections of SELECTION(just what is highlighted), REFERENCE (whole verse),
