One of those volumes isn't due out until April. I'm looking forward to these.

I would really love to see better lectionary integration. I have the weekly RCL passages on my home screen. I would love to be able to click it and have my lectionary commentaries open to the correct passages, suggested liturgies, songs, etc. This kind of integration would work well for so many of us, and make lectionary preaching so much easier!

  • Re: Why all the bundling? Request to Logos/Faithlife staff
I'd love the option of buying Feasting on the Word volume by volume. I won't pay the full price for it (probably won't pay the 40% off it's about to receive) but if I could buy it volume by volume and pay for it as the liturgical season progresses, I would definitely do it.
I was wrong. 40% off was too tempting.

  • Request: Feasting on the Gospels (Mark, Luke, John)

So far we only have Matthew. If these were offered as a complete set I'd very likely buy them.

I'm going to guess on the release date - either July 23 or 30. The last two releases have been in a Monday, which makes sense. I'm guessing a bit earlier this time than last time since effort went into defending an "approximate" two year schedule. Any other guesses?

This would be a great secondary benefit of utilizing Faithlife's servers for indexing for all internet-connected Logos decides, while preserving offline indexing as a backup for non-internet connected devices and personal book libraries. That would boost the speed of Logos searches substantially.

  • Integrate web app indexing into the desktop application

A frequent complaint about Logos is search speed. The speed of the web app, which I presume utilizes indexing from Faithlife servers, is much faster. I would love to see offline local indexing become a backup feature, with the desktop software utilizing the much faster web indexing whenever the computer is internet-connected. Personal books can rely

The complexity of these searches is increasingly frustrating to me. Yes, the software is powerful... But the power is lost in the bulk of users (like me) who will never learn the syntax. I *really* hope the request for a search builder tool is being heard.

I generally don't mind the idea of Community Pricing and Pre-Pub, but this tends to frustrate me. I have a few unfinished commentary sets, and I have to quotation whether I'll be able to but them through Logos. Dan, you and I both posted song for support for the New Beacon volumes a while back. I feel that if Logos is going to publish certain volumes
To the contrary... the everyday meaning of the word is quite innocent, despite its historical roots. To point out the later should rather be discouraged. • Re: New Beacon Bible Commentary Upgrade (5 vols.) please don't let this PrePub die....

I preordered this only a few days ago when I purchased the last NBBC upgrade... I have found this to be a top notch commentary set. I was in several classes taught by Steve Green (author of the Deut. commentary in Pre-pub) and the man is phenomenally brilliant, and wonderfully mischievous. I've glanced through his commentary and it's fantastic - I desperately

I would be interested in knowing the real expense of formatting a commentary for Logos... (Not being critical, genuine curiosity). I know part of the strategy of Prepub is that it prioritizes titles - but one thing I wish that Faithlife would observe is that Wesleyan/Anglican materials are under-represented in comparison to Reformed, for example. Do you suppose a direct plea would do any good? The more I think about it, the more frustrated I am of the possibility that this won't get made. The first New Beacon bundle was my first ever purchase on Logos. I didn't purchase a base package until the Wesleyan/Methodist package became available. I quite literally wouldn't be a Logos customer if it
