  • Collections

I have recently added Anglican Basic to my library. The new books are collected together in the library listing under Latest Updates. Is it possible to use Latest Updates as a rule to define a collection? What I want to do is to search only the latest books for a topic I have already researched in the rest of my library.

  • Logos 7 Sermon Editor Blank Tab

I have just upgraded to Silver and am attempting to use the Sermon Editor. I went to Documents, pressed 'Sermons' and all I get is a blank tab with 'Unnamed Sermon' and 'All Text Handout Question' and no from any of these and no opportunity to make any entries like setting a sermon name, typing a Bible reference, or beginning my sermon. So where is

  • Re: Logos/Verbum Tip of the day: How to build a custom reading plan

I tried this Tip to create a reading plan for 'Gospel Writing: A Canonical Perspective'. I was able to set up the Headings as daily start points but only as Page references but the template would not allow me to put in a range to the next heading. The result is that I have to find the heading on the nominated page to START reading and then immediately

Mike Meiser: After looking at the results from the above study, I was also able to craft this little search that may be of use. See image below. Mike I could only get one response to your search Lk7.37. I added Jesus to your search and got 27 results in 11 verses. (Jesus, sinner,"tax collector") NEAR ( , )

  • Logos 6 Extended Crossgrade

I have just got the Extended Crossgrade and am having difficulty in finding some of the resources. For example, the 'What You'll Get' data list says there are 52 items but my Logos program shows only 36 downloads. In particular I have been looking for the 'Greek Audio New Testament' and can't find it. Next In what way do the datasets become visible

If I understand Dr Wootten's question correctly, the way to deal with typos is to Highlight the offending sentence/passage, Right Click on it, when the window opens scroll down in the search panel to find Report Typo, Click on that. A new window opens showing the offending passage, make the needed changes in the second version of the passage and explain

Thanks. Is there a case for cleaning out out-of-date posts or for at at least gathering them under a heading L3, L4

  • Missing download

I attempted to try Morris Proctor's latest post, "Logos 5 : Syntax Search Finds Direct Object". Unfortunately, a check of my library showed I did not have the "Cascadia Syntax Graphs of the New Testament". I logged on to Logos Bible Software to find out what it would cost but found that the only mention of it is in Logos 4: Minimum Crossgrade. When

  • Re: Logos 5: Pastors and Parishioners

I'm with you Sir Maru. Maybe I should go through my library and hide 80% of the books I have that are of no help to me. The thing that puts me off taking an upgrade bundle, even to Starter, is that the majority of the package would need to be hidden. If I did upgrade, would I still have to pay the full price of the crossgrade to get all the features

  • Searching for 'Mark' ANDNOT 'mark'

I have made a collection on Mark OR "Gospel of Mark", OR "Gospel According to Mark" etc. I could not get the rule to exclude 'mark' as in 'mark my word'. I tried to find out if 'mark' was the hit that put a reference into the collection by using search (basic) on individual references in the collection but search could not make the distinction. Can

Thanks, I'll try to remember how useful TOC can be in such circumstances. There are a lot of Tom Wright's books that were made available in the March Madness that might need checking too.

  • Hyperlinks in Tom Wright's Hebrews for Everyone

I am reading Hebrews for Everyone at present. In the main text Tom Wright highlights, in black type, words that are explained in the Glossary. Unfortunately, to get to the Glossary with Page-by-Page Scrolling requires many clicks at the bottom of the page. When you get to the Glossary you find that those same words that were highlighted in the main
