  • Re: How To Search For A Spurgeon Topic?

Aah, I hadn't worked in the sermon starter guide very much but it works like a charm. Thanks for the great tip!

  • How To Search For A Spurgeon Topic?

Hi, I have the entire Spurgeon sermon collection but I've been having issues searching through all of them for specific topics. Can anyone give me some search criteria ideas? For example, suppose I want to find some of his sermons on the Prodigal son (Luke 15:11); how would I go about that? (Note: my current very laborious method is going online to

Wow, that's definitely a Homer "doh" moment on my part, MJ. I was overthinking it completely. Thanks as always for the insight!

  • How To Do A Search on Jesus & The Levitical Offerings

While I'm still building up my search capabilities, I continually come across items to search for which I have no clue what to use for criteria. Therefore, can someone let me know how I can search my library for content based on Jesus fulfilling the 5 levitical offerings? Blessings~

  • Searching for a particular Spurgeon Sermon

Hi, I'm sure this is an easy question but how can I search for a particular sermon in Spurgeon's Metropolitan Tabernacle Series? For example, since Palm Sunday is coming up, say I wanted to find out if he had a sermon on the Triumphal entry. What kind of search criteria could I use to find it?

  • Was the journey from Nazareth to Jerusalem dangerous?

Good morning All, I'm studying the caravan train of Mary & Joseph w/ young Jesus in Luke chapter 2 as they journeyed south from Nazareth to the Passover Festival in Jerusalem and it occurred to me to wonder if it's possible to find out anything related to the passageway as far as safety was concerned? For example, was this a particularly dangerous passage

  • Re: How Do You Save Favorites?

Thanks MJ, Rosie, that's a great tip to use a unique identifier. I've used clippings several times but as my number of clippings grow, I had begun to wonder how I could come back to a cool thought months or even years from now but your idea, I think, will do the trick.

  • How Do You Save Favorites?

So, I started off doing some reading this morning and came across an interesting acronym on Salvation in the ASB even though I wasn't actually studying that topic. However, I know down the road that I would definitely love to find that acronym and the surrounding text when I need it. So that got me to wondering how everyone else manages to save items

  • Re: Is the 'search' on the home page more powerful or is it just me?

Thanks Graham and Rosie. I do see the limitations of using this function (not being able to customize the layout) but I agree that for some quick searches, this is a pretty cool feature.

  • Is the 'search' on the home page more powerful or is it just me?

This morning, I started my prep for my weekly bible study and, as happens very often, I got caught up reading the articles and exerpts on the home page. Now, in terms of study, I have never used the search field on the home page but go to one of my layouts. However, today I just typed in "renew" on the home page search and it opened up a complete layout

  • Re: Turning in laptop, How to remove software

Thanks Nord. I will definitely run a system restore before turning it back in but knowing all my data is out to the server is very helpful.

  • Re: Turning in laptop, How to remove software

Graham, I'm going to need to do this same thing in the very near future. I understand all of my resources will be downloaded onto the new machine but I'm curious about some of my other items such as clippings and notes. I never followed the trail to see if these items are on my local machine or get loaded up to the server and can be downloaded to another

  • Re: Pinning Discussions?

That's a good point in terms of using the wiki. However, from just a 'being lazy' standpoint, it would be nice to see some top, recurring discussions pinned by the moderator. Having said that, the wiki can be much more thorough and detailed than the discussion so I'm 100% in agreement with you, Graham. Now, I'm off to troll the wiki. thanks.

  • Pinning Discussions?

Is there a way for a discussion to be 'pinned' to the to top of the forum so that it won't get buried in the large number of discussions that we have after a few days? There are a number of topics that I, personally, would love to see on a regular basis as a form of reference such as: 1. list of search criteria (i.e. 'event', 'people', 'NEAR', etc)

  • Clipping on Mobile Device?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question is no but I just want to be sure. It's not possible to clip an article or reference on a mobile device is it? (ie I have an android tablet and would love to be able to clip like on my desktop version).

  • Re: Which Software Do You Use Most When Offline? Faithlife or Logos?

Hi Erwin, Yes indeed. I should have been more specific, but I am referring to which version is most preferred using either android or ios without any type of connectivity.

I'm not crashing but it is incredibly slow this morning. On top of that, my entire system is crawling. I rebooted and closed out every other program except Logos and it is still very sluggish. I'll have to try another reboot later and see how it goes.
