  • Re: Logos on eInk/eReader Device

Would it be crazy to have a "logos reader" that is a designated device? Not sure how all that works but just throwing that kind of an idea out :)

Thank you Kevin! It now finished indexing. I guess it was this need for trim or something. Oh, it feels so good to have my software back :)

  • Macbook Freezes toward the end of indexing

I have a mid-2012 macbook pro running a pretty fresh installation of os x el capitan 10.11.15 since I had my previous hard drive go bad on me. I have a 500 GB Samsung SSD and have been running many different programs without any problem. Logos has installed properly but when it goes through the indexing process the farthest it has come is about 95%

  • Buy A Coupon Code

I was wondering if there is a possibility of buying a "coupon code" for a "free" download of the NIV or for a specific book for others. I imagine It could be a code I give to a small group or the church as a whole so everyone has the same book or Bible during a study. Perhaps each time someone uses the coupon code I get charged a certain amount for

  • Glitch in the interlinear/Greek Word lookup in NIV and NASB

So I have found a weird glitch in doing a word study with the NASB. Here is what happens: 1. When right clicking (or hovering my mouse over) the word "AND" in 1 Corinthians 12:31. It is coming up as ὁδός 2. If I choose to do an interlinear function in line it shows the correct word below it (καί) and when I right click it I still get ὁδός 3. This same

  • Thank you for the prayer list!

Just wanted to thank Logos for the way they implemented the prayer list. Definitely worth the wait. I appreciate that it uses a sync method that does not rely on internet at the time of looking at the list or even adding a new prayer request. This is huge. I have given up on other prayer list apps because I've opened it to add someone's prayer list

  • Re: This is how you can have Logos IPhone/IPad app read to you! (Read Aloud)

I'm glad so many also have found this to be useful! :) 2 other things to note that I've learned: 1. If you keep it on "page turning" instead of scrolling it seems to be more consistently accurate. I haven't tested this a whole lot but it seems to be better for me. 2. You can actually start it reading to you and then leave the logos app and it will still

  • Use Gestures With Trackpad

I saw someone commented on the blog asking how to use a trackpad with the gestures mentioned here https://blog.logos.com/2015/08/save-time-with-gestures-in-logos/ and I thought maybe there were some others who didn't know how to do it. 1. Go under system preferences under TRACKPAD 2. Make sure "secondary click" is set with "click with two fingers" 3

  • Re: Macro For Text Box

Hi Dave, I'll try to explain it a little more. I've gone to the wiki before and tried to figure something out on my own for a while but hoped perhaps there was someone more computer savy than I am. Typically for some of the other functions in a personal book I've programmed a macro to perform the function for me (so I don't have to type it out each

  • Macro For Text Box

I have been trying to figure out how to build a macro (or something else if it is easier) to be a single button I can push on my toolbar to create the code for the textbox but increasing a number each time. I have been trying different things but I am not very good at these things. Anyone ever find a way to make this work? For Example: If I click a

  • [resolved]Can I jump to scripture quotations in a book?

Is there a way to jump ahead to each scripture reference in a book that I am reading? Similar to how I can jump to my "next annotation" can I jump to the "next quoted verse?" I thought I remembered being able to do this a while back. Thanks!
