Has there been any activity on this issue? How does it impact use of The Apocrypha: The Lutheran Edition ?

There are not that many actual features in the "extended" "feature" set.
I think that's the point. The extended feature set is meant to add resources to the features in order to populate all of Logos guides and tools. The added features are a bonus. Logos 6 did the same thing (Core cross-grade
I think this compares them and I like what I see. https://www.logos.com/compare/feature-sets Thanks for pointing this out. Very small sample of new to me items. To be fair I have not bought a feature set yet so maybe I am seeing more new stuff in the extended set table than you are. The Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible Dataset The

  • Re: PBBs: PDF to Docx conversion - Is there a better way?
Of course, the problem is not getting text from PDF documents. Lots of programs do a good job with that, The problem is the footnotes, formatting, and those pesky PDF files that are not text based, but graphic in nature. What you have in those PDF files is just a picture of the pages in the book, not text in a PDF format

  • Re: Provide Luther's works in German as well as English
One of the drawbacks to having Luther's Works in Logos format rather than the paper editions is that the notation giving the corresponding location in the Weimarer Ausgabe (WA) is missing. That set me thinking. Wouldn't it be incredible if Logos could make those original editions available? If I were to dream, as KS4J sometimes
The pricing is back, but it would also help to please have Individual Titles or More Details sections to identify what resources we don't own. Thanks!
My current experience: Pricing is available on the Noet site. The usual details, minus pricing, are available on the Logos site.

The Biblical Greek Research Library does not show any pricing, nor can I add it to my Wish List, from the Logos site. However, it does show a price at the Noet store .
Great article Kevin. What would you recommend to make it more attractive to a devotional user? Perhaps Logos could develop a new but smaller package to more effectively target this group.
Many people use Logos in different ways. I can appreciate the desire to target the books you want to purchase (although it is a more expensive way to acquire books). My Logos acquisitions have diminished in recent years as I am not currently preaching or writing term papers, but the SINGLE feature I like about Logos is that

  • Re: So...what would make you buy more books from Logos?

Greater availability of Logos editions of my seminary textbooks (which is as much on my seminary as it is on Faithlife.) Better cash flow. (I have extensive wish lists, plural, and little cash for purchases. Definitely not Faithlife's responsibility.) Better cooperation with Faithlife's pricing policies from publishers. (I hang this one on the publishers

  • Re: NIV84 Personal Book
The NIV text surely is under copyright , which would mean that even if your jurisdiction allows building a PB for your personal use , you could not share it with others.
You are probably right. I will refrain from commentary on copyright laws and their excesses, however.

  • NIV84 Personal Book

Before I tackle the project, has anyone else produced a personal Bible of the NIV84 text? Or is that text still under copyright despite being removed from availability?

And they are not indexed for the store search function yet, either. I also notice a lack of the tradition-specific options of the Logos 6 Bundles. Such options would be redundant, and it makes sense that they wouldn't be offered. Once someone has the Full Feature Set, or subscribes to Logos Now, the Base Package libraries perform the same function in

I'm still having the problem as well, although less severely than I originally reported. It's back to "refresh the browser, wait, and after a couple of tries it works". Different browsers, different computers, from different locations (home and office); same behavior. In my case, I do have a lengthy set of wish lists, as that is the best organizational

  • Wish List fails

I am continually receiving the following error when I attempt to view my Wish List: 504 Gateway Time-out The server didn't respond in time. This has been a recurring issue since the release of Logos 7, but I have usually been able to access my Wish List after a couple of failed attempts. Today, however, I cannot access my Wish List at all.
