• Re: How can we improve our mobile app notifications?
Good morning, everybody. Our Mobile team at Faithlife is starting to investigate ways to improve notifications on iOS and Android. I know many of you use our iOS and Android apps, and I'd love to get any specific feedback you have on how we can make notifications better. We'd be so grateful if you could help answer these

  • Re: Judaica Libraries Gone?
It could have to do with them getting ready for the new L7 Bundles. They might be reconfiguring those as well.
Certainly possible, and suggests that the new L7 bundles are immanent. Another possibility is a revision of the Noet product line. I noticed today that if you look at base packages in the Logos.com store
I agree with MJ. Another way of looking at it (in very general terms) would be: Introduction: Read this before you read the text, and it will help you put the text in context. Background: Read this as you read the text, and it will fill in some blanks. Survey: Read this instead of reading the text, and it will give you a summary
People seem to love baptize leaders as defenders of the faith even when it seems to be only lip service to faith, dan
This springs from a desire for leaders to be defenders of the faith, and to choose them on that basis, primarily or exclusively.
Correct (and SDA, too). The full version (which will end up on my website) will say: The guide below is aimed particular at those I know best — students, preachers and academics within the evangelical tradition, so bear that in mind as I assess the value of the various packages. I don't know Catholicism, SDA or Orthodoxy
James, you are not alone in the search for an appropriate base library. Many LCMS, WELS and ELS members love their synod’s theology and the material that their synods produce and they want to see more of that material in Logos’ libraries. Fortunately, you do have several options. For example: You could stay

  • Re: Why is there No Dynamic Pricing for some products, particularly those by Zondervan?

Zondervan is not the only such publisher, only the most prominent. There are several publishers whose agreements with Faithlife are such that their content cannot be dynamically priced or otherwise discounted* outside of a publisher-driven or -approved sale event. Even so, that content is available in Logos, albeit with less convenient pricing; definitely

I recall reading on these boards that, given the error rate with even the best OCR, once the manual effort to correct those errors is factored in, the double key method is actually better than OCR-and-correct; less time and/or less money, I forget which.
