Interestingly, I was showing someone yesterday that touchscreen scrolling didn't work and then it worked for one of the resources. I realized that as I clicked different Tabs, some resources scrolled while others didn't.
Again, I invite you to investigate how many columns you have set for each resource. Set to none, scrolling

As for a "Hybrid Machine" : I run a Lenovo X220T. It is convertible. The touch screen can be rotated and folded facing outward...resembling a tablet. It has an i7 processor and 8 GB ram. No appreciable difference in speed or functionality compared to the PC. It seems much more stable on the lap than the surface pro 3. However it is heavier, and the

Hi, Steve; I use a Dell Venue 8 Pro as a Pocket Portable. It runs the full blown desktop version in a respectable fashion. Admittedly not as quick as my desktop or laptop, but for an ultra-lite, fully portable solution, I don't see how you could beat it. I got it on the Dell outlet site for a flat $200. It came with Microsoft office home and student

Ok; My mistake was giving you background on what started my investigation. Believe me, My intent was not to defame the teacher...but to fully understand the concept. The assertion was that Christ could do what was impossible for Israelites. ... Be both priest and king. My understanding is that it is not impossible. ... just improbable. A sizable difference

Sorry for the confusion...but my original pause to ponder was whether this gentleman was correct when he said Mosaic law prevented a person holding both offices.

Exactly. So the story of Melchizedek is no support for the assertion that those under Mosaic law could not wear both hats.
Depending upon the question behind the question you might be asking, in case it was a Christ-centric type of question, Melchizedek was a king and a priest of the God most high ( Gen 14:18 ), which was not a Levitic priest but it was the priestly line that Jesus was from ( Heb 5:6 ref. Ps 110:4 ). Hebrews 7:1 explains how Melchizedek

I can only tell you that unassisted, I can not scroll using the touch screen. However, If you download an app called touchmousepointer, you will be able to scroll. It's a free app, and it works flawlessly. As to your original question... changing the number of columns in a Bible will affect how scroll and highlight function. Just a quirk.

  • Re: Mosaic law: Could one be a king and a priest?

Thanks; The only conclusion I can reach is that since the priests had to be Levites, accept no salary, and own no property, They were not "likely" to be kings. ...But I still find no LAW.

  • Mosaic law: Could one be a king and a priest?

I have often heard and read that Mosaic law prevented a person from being a priest and a king simultaneously. I can not find scripture to verify /dispute this. Any help would be appreciated.
