Yep, that must have happened to mine too - I'm guessing it'll get fixed in one of the next updates. Hope your exam goes well!

Thanks, Graham. That's helpful. Also, I wonder if a recent update messed up my NA28; it used to show the English gloss with hover over, but now it doesn't. I'm glad there are other ways to see a gloss without multiple clicks! Enjoy the day! Shane

Two, mainly: NA-28 and BHS-W. Thanks!

How can I make it so that when my mouse arrow hovers over a Greek or Hebrew word, I can also see an English gloss? Right now hovering over a Hebrew/Greek word shows me the details, but no English gloss. I'd like to see an English gloss too. Thanks for any help!

Hey everybody: quick question for the day: How do I print the table of contents for the "Works" collections I have in my Logos Library? For example, I'd like a way to quickly see the contents of Owen's Works or Boston's Works without having to dig around in Logos for 5 minutes. I found Boston's Works Table of Contents online and I printed it, but can

First off, I want to say I'm thankful for the help I've received on these forums in the past! Thanks! Anyway, when I highlight a text and right click it, I usually only see 3 options in the lower left of the dialogue box to 1) add a clipping to ____ 2) add a note to ____ and 3) add a community note. What if I want to add a clipping or note to a different

Yes! Thanks guys! I wouldn't have found that very quickly on my own, so you saved me a lot of time and headaches. Appreciate it! Shane

Sorry to bother, but I'm looking for a way to simply look at all my books in order of purchase. In other words, I want to see my library with the newly added books on the top of the list so I can go down the list and be reminded of what I own (yes, I do forget sometimes!). Thanks to anyone who can help!
-
I think I had that too at first when I installed Logos 6 on my Surface Pro 4; or Logos wouldn't open or something odd. If I remember, I ran the updates and that fixed it. Did you try running updates? Give that a shot.
-
Yes, I agree with the above Surface Pro users: it is a great computer for Logos! I just got a SP4 (128GB, i5), and it is lightning fast. I was using Logos on an older laptop, and it was so slow (I had to wait around 5-10 seconds sometimes for a dropdown menu to appear after a click!!!). If anyone has any questions about the SP4 and Logos, I'll try to

Thanks, David - good points. I think you're right - a few hundred dollars more in this case is justifiable, because it will honestly help studies and sermon writing. I think your points will carry weight in my situation - without anyone being upset. One more question for anyone: can you plug in an extra monitor to the surface pro? I thought I read you

Thanks Bill! Appreciate the comments!

Thanks again for the suggestions! I'm thinking I'll keep an eye out for one of the two you mention; even if they come down a little, it should be a "go." Blessings!

Geo - appreciate the response. I have an old Acer Aspire - 2011 - it's a DOG! Since I'm a pastor, the church will cover a laptop, but I want to be a good steward. I'm guessing they will tell me to stick around $800 or so? Give or take...
-
Bill - if I may ask, what laptop did you get to run Logos on? Thanks!
-
Thanks for these comments! I was just looking into a new computer/laptop, since my old 2011 model is starting to fade. Does anyone else have comments on this to help me out? I know I need an SSD, which will help with speed. Any comments would be helpful. Thanks much!

Thanks for the help, Graham and "abondservant." For now, I think I'll type on Word, and then when I'm to a good spot writing, I'll cut/paste into a note. That might be my best option unless someone else has a better idea. Maybe Logos will have a word processor of sorts in a future edition - so a mister's whole library and sermon index could be in one

I was wondering if I can write sermons and papers inside the Logos program. In other words, I'd like it if I could type/write sermons/papers as a Logos-type of document, so it would save and sync with Logos on my other platforms (android and online). Thanks much for any comments!

I'm thankful for these forums - everyone has been super helpful. So thanks in advance! I was wondering if there is any way to change the wording and font of the hover over option in (for example) the Green New Testament. Right now in my Nestle Aland GNT if I put the mouse over a Greek word, it parses it and gives a one word definition for it at the

Todd - thanks much! Already changed a few. Appreciate the help.
