• Re: Logos Free for (Homeschool) Families

Phil, As noted by Jan, above, Faithlife has created a products page for the Homeschool Bundle. However, I am not seeing a price. Does this page just serve as a placeholder for the bundle or will it be available for purchase? David

Thanks, Faithlife. I saw this with 15 minutes to go and was able to get my homeschooling daughter signed up. Here is another vote for an extension. I have contacted the education manager for a missions group we work with in Orlando. If the offer can be extended, she may be able to contact their missionaries in the field arpind the world who are homeschooling

  • Re: Daily routine with Logos

First, connect a second monitor if you can. It won't take long to fill up the second screen with panels. Second, read with your Bible open in one panel and your favorite commentary in a second panel. Link them together so that they both refer to the same passage. Third, you will notice that when you follow a link from either your Bible or your commentary
I'm in the same position and I'm guessing this is because it is included in a package we have previously paid for. I tired to see if I could find evidence of this but was unable.
I called Logos support last night and they said that I had bid $24 when the resource had been offered as a pre-pub. They said the $24 price

I just recieved an email from Logos to tell me that my $24 bid might fail. But when I visit the community pricing link, the bidding is frozen!! I am unable to raise my bid to $27.

I would vote for Henrietta Mears. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henrietta_Mears "She served in leading the Sunday School program from 400 to 6500. Thanks for the link, Wild Eagle. I sent it out to our Logos users group. My son checked it out. He says that the issues prior to May 2008 do not appear to be free. I think they were free at one time. I have all the issues back to 1975.

  • Re: Disabling the Carousel Feature

I use the carousel feature for cycling through commentaries. The problem I have is that typically my commentary will be in a link set with my Bible. If the new target commentary doesn't have a matching "anchor"(?) or reference, then the Bible is yanked away to the nearest reference of the new commentary. Using the left arrow to get back does not restore
Hi George, Feel free to send an e-mail my way at thomas.reiter@faithlife.com and I'll see what I can do! While I can't make any promises (since there are multiple factors involved like licensing, technical, etc.), we are wanting to make an intentional effort this year in increasing our Bible language coverage

One person's take was: You posted in a group interested in InstantPot and didn't expect to be banned?!?
Christina I don't believe any emails have been sent about this. I am signed up for emails and I am eligible for this order since I upgraded in 2018 yet I have received no emails about this except the one to look out for these in the future. I'm guessing many non-forum followers are missing out on this so I'd recommend something
I was actually looking for the physical book The Life of Christ in Stereo. Is that book written in reader's format?
They are published in reader's format in paperback. It reads like one large Gospel. I have several copies.

  • Re: Harmony of the Gospel

I like "Jesus Christ - The Greatest Life". I originally taught a small group through Johnston Cheney's "The Life of Christ in Stereo" in the 1980's. The text ot this work was combined with another resulting in the resource available via Logos: "Jesus Christ - The Greatest Life". Cheney's harmony was distinctive due to his methodology. He went back to

  • Re: "D. A. Carson Sermon Library (Media)"

If you open the Sermon Library (text), then at the begginning of each sermon, with title, there is also a cover picture with the media. This is presumably the media which corresponds that particular sermon. Unfortunately, with Chrome and Firefox pressing the media link results in a statement that the media is not currently supported. So, even though

Hi Phil, When you "highlight fine directly on the resources" are you on the Web App? If so, then what OS and browser are you using. When I use Windows 7 with a recent Firefox, I see no way to either view prior highlighting or create new highlights.
