• Bug report - Hebrew cantillations interactive tool, LHB/SESB BHS pointing variation

Per the SESB BHS Daniel 7:5 has an atnach under שׁניה but the Hebrew Cantillations tool seems to miss it: Perhaps it is because the atnach doesn't appear in the Lexham Hebrew Bible, but has been turned into a vowel mark: perhaps by trying to integrate Ketiv and Qere?

I will occasionally put Logos up on a monitor (via HDMI cable from laptop) when leading my small group Bible study.
If I have tagged resources, then I can use the library pane to browse my existing tag set. But, if I tag my clippings, then how can I list my existing tags? With my memory, I am likely to generate multiple tags for the same thing simply by changing the capitalization or adding an 's'. So I need to be able to determine my

I don't see a way to tag Clippings when in my iPad app, just checking to be sure this feature still isn't in the app?

  • Re: Digital Church Library (For Borrowing Books)

I too would love to see some kind of church-library licensing model. I have asked about this in the past, and got the idea that the threshold obstacle is the publishers, who haven't yet gotten comfortable with the digital world. I'm sure Logos has the expertise to come up with a model that makes sense for all stakeholders. I can imagine many members
Some mention DCH, maybe because more concise for quick use.
I think it's also possible that DCH also includes more sources than HALOT, because of the publication of more DSS manuscripts in the intervening years?

  • Re: New reverse interlinears?

Wow! That's what I get for not following the forums for long stretches of time -- didn't realize these resources had that "reverse" interlinear capacity, back to original language, not just English/LXX Gk or English/Vulgate Lat. Thank you all, and thank you Logos!

  • New reverse interlinears?

Under "resources updated" on my home page banner, I see some exciting new reverse interlinears: Greek-Hebrew LXX and a set of Latin-Greek and -Hebrew Vulgates. But they aren't live links that I can click on. What are they? Are these perhaps just some Logos 7 structural updates that aren't yet associated with resources? Are these perhaps just Logos Now

Thank you, Adam et al.! There are a lot of things I would be willing to do in life with just a 0.3% likelihood of complete failure.

  • 7.11 patch in the works?

With the scary reports about major problems some users are having with yesterday's 7.11 release, I'm reluctant to initiate an update to get the Black Friday purchases I made. Do we have a sense yet of how widespread the problems are with the new release? Can someone from Logos report whether a patch in the works?

Is there a way to see whether or not a resource has the "Outline" attribute, so that it will show up in the Outlines section of the Passage Guide? Thanks in advance.

  • Impact of saving many concordances?

I'm enthusiastic about being able to save concordances with the 7.10 update to the Concordance Tool. As someone who grew up with a paper library, this is a natural tool for me. But I'm wondering what the impact is, if any, on things like start-up time, performance generally, disk space, etc. Is there a number of concordances, or a quantity of concordance

  • Re: Update to 7.10 "not found"?

Yes, that worked. Yay! I love the new feature of Concordance "history" and saving concordances (beyond the cache) by pinning them. See http://mpseminars.com/logos-tips-and-tricks/save-a-concordance-resource/ Very powerful way to get quick (once concordance is made), targeted access to individual resources.

I can't get "Update Now" to retrieve the 7.10 update. I've tried running the command from my toolbar button, from the Command box and also from the About Logos window. Log files attached, just in case. 5047.Logos Log Files.zip

  • Meltho fonts initial/medial form letters without AltGr key?

I'm feeling brave enough to try to learn a tiny bit of Syriac (with the Zondervan "Basics of Classical Syriac" package), and want to make flash cards. The Estrangelo Talada font (in the Meltho font package) looks the most like the script in my study materials. But in the Windows character map, I only see final forms for the kap, mim, and nun. The Meltho

I just noticed that the 1891 work edited by Ryles and James on the Psalms of Solomon ("Psalms of the Pharisees, Commonly Called the Psalms of Solomon")--broken into three resources by Logos, one for the Greek text, one for the English translation and one for the commentary--is tagged as type:Bible, and for the commentary resource, type:Bible Commentary

Thank, Francis, for describing this issue. I too get frustrated waiting and waiting and waiting for the suggestions list to stop its "spinning," so I can just get to work. I hadn't identified it as happening only after a program restart. I'll try to remember to watch to see if this is my experience as well.
