Daily Dose of Hebrew has video lessons corresponding to Dr. Futato's Beginning Biblical Hebrew textbook, in addition to its Daily Dose videos.
Thanks for this link! And don't forget the value of good old-fashioned writing by hand, with paper and pencil. E.g., write out those paradigm charts over and over again,

  • Default note indicator for each note file

It would be nice if I could assign a default note indicator/highlight for a particular note file.

  • Re: Hebrew mss of Ben Sira

Thanks, Denise! I didn't think about the Tov Parallel, very helpful. The Beentjes volume sounds like the best out there, but I understand there have been a couple of new discoveries since then (published 1997), a downside to actual books. And yes, there is still something special about getting a look at images of the manuscripts themselves, especially

  • Prioritize interactives?

It'd be nice if I could somehow customize the list of "top 10" interactive resources appearing in the Tools menu. Perhaps by prioritizing them?

  • Hebrew mss of Ben Sira

These manuscripts are a substantial chunk of the source texts for the Dictionary of Classic Hebrew, but I haven't found a Logos resource or tool that gives me any kind of access to them. One option might be to incorporate them into one of the Manuscript Explorers (even though they aren't part of the "Hebrew Bible" or the Septuagint per se). The website

  • BUG: DSS sorting in Passage List

The Passage List appears to sort DSS references completely alphabetically. The Cave numbers and the Roman numeral column references aren't recognized as such. See how a Cave 11 scroll precedes Cave 1, and how 1QHa ix precedes 1QHa v and viii:
It is so complicated. I am not quite sure about it.
Yes, there is quite a lot of information (and Logos-ese) here to absorb! If you have the Concordance tool (under "Reference" in the Tools menu), shown in Graham's last image, that is the most direct route to a complete list of what is and isn't available in Logos

  • Re: Books without page number

If the resource does contain page numbers, you will see the option to "turn them on" in the Visual Filters drop-down (triangle of 3 dots). You need to have a check in the "Resource" box, as well as the page number box. Unfortunately, not all resources are indexed with page numbers. To confirm whether a resource does or does not have page numbers, you

Very cool! Yes, I was able to copy into a Sentence Diagram document, but didn't try to manipulate it there. The image pasted into Word works fine for me, as all I want is a piece of paper I can mark up with pencil. Thanks to all for this excellent tool! It fills a real need.

  • Re: New Resource: Lexham Hebrew Bible: Cantillation Analysis

Cool! Fun to play with; I wouldn't have thought to look there. I still only get one verse at a time in the Print/Export window, though. Right now I'm studying Ps 98, and the cantillation tools help me follow along with commentaries that try to find meter in the text (or even advocate text emendations based on meter). With copy-paste from the Interactive
How would I create a collection with the resources that come up from the tag?
In the video, Morris shows you exactly how this works. He calls them "automatic collections."

  • Re: Organizing My Library

There's a video resource called "Organize Your Books" by Morris Proctor that helped me get where I want to be with my own organization. Morris is the official Logos trainer, and an excellent one at that. This resource is a segment from his Camp Logos seminar. In a nutshell, I use tagging to create collections that I add to my personalized Passage Guide

Very helpful, thanks! With the graphs, I think I'm only getting one verse at a time, because it splits all the way down to the affix level. I don't see a way this can be adjusted?

  • Redundant pop-up footnotes on copying to Word

[This chain started back with Logos 6, where I originally posted this message.] This behavior is still bugging me, and I finally have the right combination of time, motivation and examples to follow up. I think Logos resources are typically tagged with pop-ups generated from the tables of abbreviations and sigla of the particular resource. These pop
