I have noticed that when I change the version from default to say ESV and close Logos, when I reopen Logos the version reverts to default (which I assume is LEB). Is there a way that I can have the version remain as ESV rather than reverting to the default?
I have filed a bug report for this
This is in 6.0b beta 1 on Windows 8.1 While using the right-click menu to open the Atlas for "Susa" gets an appropriate map and highlights the right place it doesn't centre the place in the display For details please see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/97583.aspx
Thanks for reporting this, I've created a case
Sorry if this has already been reported. Please redirect people to another thread if you are aware of one. I did a right click of Hadrach in Zech. 9:1 , opened the factbook, and clicked on the Atlas image. It zoomed into the right place and level in the Atlas but then as soon as I zoomed out to get context on where I was "Hadrach
Now the TOC links all end up going to "Hangul".
TOC links (and any other anchor/jump links) are actively being worked on, but unfortunately will not be in 6.0a.
Sure, Bethel is somewhere in there, but that is a very unsatisfactory result to my click.
The map "Jacob Returns to Canaan" should load as it's ranked first in the results. This is the bug for which I have filed a report.
Here is three examples of what I see: ... ... I see the same map as above for Thyatira.
This seems to be mostly an issue of story maps not having been produced for those locations yet (as opposed to the fairly general biblical world maps), and so the search results may not be especially useful. Most of the maps we currently
That was not true in my case. As I noted, the Atlas opened to the last used map which did not contain Ephesus. The map was for the Divided Kingdom some years/centuries prior to the establishment of Ephesus.
I can't reproduce this: Is this what you're seeing after you click on atlas from the Ephesus right click context

Hi Caleb, is it possible to directly email me the logs? hoongern.ng [the at sign] logos.com
-
It's very possible that we just haven't produced maps relevant to that area yet, which is an ongoing process, but if you're able to recall the place(s) you were searching for and the search results, that may help to rule out any potential software bugs
-
If I right click on the word Ephesus in my NKJV In Ephesians 1:1 and select Place and then Atlas, in the Atlas I see a map of Ephraim.
The atlas performs a search filter on the left panel to show you maps associated with Ephesus (which you can then pick), but looks like it should be opening the first map result and

In this particular case, "Exodus" and "Deuteronomy" are already pre-linked to wikipedia pages on Exodus and Deuteronomy. For now, we have decided not to override any existing links to other wikipedia pages, although we may reconsider this in the future. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Thanks for reporting this, I've created a case and will look into it.

Thanks for reporting both of these issues. I've created cases and will look into this

Also, which package of Logos 6 do you have? (Starter doesn't contain atlas, but all other tiers should have at least some maps)
-
Hi Bill, sorry to hear that there are issues with the Atlas. 1) Are you connected to the internet and is Logos set to work online? 2) Have you tried restarting Logos while online? (Atlas downloads map data on startup) 3) Do you see any sort of yellow notification bar within the Atlas panel? If you've done both 1 and 2, it's probably worth enabling Logging
-
This should now be fixed - you may have to click the notification bar to get the latest revision if the badly rendered version is cached on your machine.
