Thanks Graham, That did it.

How do you turn the "Start Reading" screen with the big green dot back On if turned off?
-
Yes, this is what I get. I think everything is good. I think the best way to describe what I was looking for would be: In the library prioritized books and bibles screen, giving equal weight to 3-4 bibles so they all become searchable at the same time from the "layout search strip". But using the search screen instead, works just as well. Thanks for

I have the same.

I edited my last post with your solution working well. Thanks

Thanks Graham. It seems to default to my prioritized bible each time after closing the search pane. But it's not too much to re-select "top bibles" each time.
-
Thanks Graham. It works if I leave the search window open. But after closing it, it defaults to the single pre-selected bible.
-
How do I make "top bibles" my default bible search focus? TIA

I'm thrilled to say the least. I really like the search templates and speed, especially with my new SSDD.

Thanks, I found the link.

The computer shop said they changed my Logos password. I did not click the approval email link. How do I check my password? Where is the change password option?

Since we are going against the rules of this board, I invite all who disagree with me on the Matthew 19:9 loophole for divorce and remarriage, to www.christiandiscourse.net . We could give it proper treatment there.
-
Thanks for your reply. Either way, the "except" clause does not provide a loophole for divorce and remarriage on grounds of adultery. If it did, the innocent woman and the man she marries would be free from the charge of adultery. Since she was divorced from an adulterous husband. But Jesus says they commit adultery too. If we translate "Except" using

This is probably not the place. But please note: Jesus says the innocent woman divorced from her adulterous husband, also commits adultery if she remarries, along with her second husband. No way around it. “And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except [IF] it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and

Regardless, Jesus taught the innocent woman divorced from an adulterous husband would commit adultery along with the man she marries. Proving the except clause is better translated "if".

John Howard Yoder wrote extensively on the Anabaptist position for non-violence. I have several that I value greatly. But here is a Logos product page where you can learn more. https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=john+howard+yoder&Author=8648%7cJohn+Howard+Yoder&redirecttoauthor=true&start=0

Much of it has gone political. But I post there regularly and stick to Christian ethics and theology. It would be great if others reading this would join in. I believe it is one of the better, and most user friendly sites on the net. Special thanks to Jan for all of the work he put into it.

Thanks to you, I found a used copy and am going through it. This would be a great asset in Logos and I would gladly pay the price for any Logos version. Great book!
