I asked a couple of days ago and never got a response. Following here.

Is there a chance that Logos would be able to match the sale that Zondervan emailed out this morning?

Boy this thread has taken a turn. In other news, I finished reading Permanent Record by Ed Snowden yesterday :) Back on track-here’s a picture of a desk used to study the Bible... Jonathan Edwards‘s page25 1037 full.html

I've asked before to purchase this issue about Gerstner and Jonathan Edwards and was told it must be a bug. I sure with I could purchase it... https://www.logos.com/product/20344/tabletalk-magazine-october-1997-the-rational-biblical-theology-of-john-gerstner

I already have the set, but was happy to see this showup today. It would be a great way to get people studying JE. For the ones who ask if they +1 and +2 are worth it, yes :) These volumes retail for $125 in hardback. I searched for about a year to buy the set, and my goal was to spend around $40 per volume or less for used copies. The Yale volumes

So helpful. I've been using Logos for a few years, and I just started an Mdiv program this past March. I honestly cannot put into words how helpful this software has been. I understand what John Piper meant in an interview when asked about the technology and he said it almost moves him to tears what we have to study the Bible these days. Thank you Faithlife

Thanks! 501 Intro to the OT wouldn't be the same without Logos!

Someone suggested I post here. I need this book for a class that starts October 14. Would love to have it in Logos rather than other formats. Thanks Is there a way to go about getting the book "Old Testament Today" by itself? It is part of a collection that is $125: https://www.logos.com/product/50061/zondervan-biblical-studies-collection Thanks.

Wondering if anyone knows how to make the Read Aloud feature work consistently? There doesn't seem to be a certain rhyme or reason to when it works and when it doesn't. I hit command R and it starts reading. Then it might just stop in the middle of a paragraph. If I scroll down so it will read farther down the page it might read where the top of the

On the desktop app, I have it set when I highlight something i can hit a key to make it green, another key to make it red, and it sends that highlight to s specific notebook (for a reading group i am in at school). When I use the ipad to read, I can select a section, tap the highlight options, and go to the palette (i think it is called) that i had

I can't see the payment plan options since I have it and it is grayed out. What is the longest number of months and monthly rate they let you draw it out to?
-
Besides the 30 day refund policy, I would look at it as (on a 12 month payment plan) roughly $1 a day to have this set in your library. When the Yale Works of Jonathan Edwards hit 399 a couple of years ago that is the way I looked at it. Am I willing to pay about $1 a day to have a $1300digital/$3400printed set in my library? Easy answer :)

Is there a good acid test that you could look for to quickly know how a set leans? If one isn’t familiar with the scholarly names, maybe one or two passages to check and it’ll quickly give away what to expect as a whole?
If you are in a fundamentalist church, stay the heck away from WBC.
im a full time staff at an IFB church, lol. The only commentary I ever hear is from ‘the good ol days’

I got it on 5/22/17 for that price according to my order history. Pretty sure hasn't been that low since then. Bet they’ll be busy!
-
I would open up the "cited by" tool and leave it next to your other recourses. Add you favorite collections to it and when you have john 3.16 open it will, for example, show you all the times jonathan edwards and john calvin mention the verse, etc.

Is there a way to have extra audience types in the sermon editor? For example: Middle School Group / High School Group / Sunday School Class / etc

I also wonder if i should get this. I started seminary earlier this year (been a youth pastor for 5 years). I don’t know any Hebrew, but I will have it as one of my classes. Any thoughts if this is something that would be useful? I emailed the Hebrew teacher and he said that he doesn’t require it because of the cost, but he uses BDB (or

I think by saying $330 you mean the latest model that is $329. If you look at prices online it goes on sale at amazon, best buy, and walmart for $249 very often. Just a little tip thatll save you $80. If you add ipad as a topic to the apple news app (if you have a device with that app) you'll see all sorts of news articles that mention price drops.
