  • Re: I thank God for Logos…

I am glad to have Logos software also. I made the financial plunge some years ago with the Logos 3 Shcolarship package. It doesn't replace my library of books, it extends it. I still love to sit with a good book and read. On a warm day, outside with some quiet, its great. Or in the early morning hours when most folks are asleep. There is something special

I thanked Timothy but I truly mean to thank ALL OF YOU!! Years ago I purchased Adobe Acrobat 7 Standard. It cost me a few hundred dollars but I did it because there is so much information available on the internet. Printing this information in pdf form was a good way for me to conserve space on my hard drive. And, the pdf format is a good and convenient

  • Re: PDF software

Copying and pasting to Microsoft Word only the information needed is preferable to saving the entire webpage to a pdf. However, sometimes the expedient thing to do is to print to pdf and later, when there is time, to convert the pdf to Word. The latter would need yet another software. Greg, have you noticed that the Adobe Reader has the functionality

Greg, I just downloaded and installed the Bullzip pdf software. It's compatible with Win7 x64 which is the operating system that I am using. It's exactly what I need. Thank you. I also downloaded and installed Adobe's PDF Reader.

  • PDF software

Greetings friends, Oftentimes I find very helpful information on the internet. I would like to save that information in PDF form for future reference. There are plenty of PDF softwares on the web. I would like to find one that is freeware. Thankfully there are more than a few of these but I haven't a clue as to which one to choose. Please, if anyone

  • Re: L3 in Win7

Thanks for your post. I am getting a new pc next week with Win7 Ultimate installed. I was wondering if Win7 would be compatible to Lib3. If I understand you correctly, all I need do is to install the latest version of 3.0 from the Logos website and do a license sync. Is that right?

  • Re: Rich Resources on "Moslem"

I also have been motivated to learn more about Islam and how it differs from Christianity and Judaism. Some of my Muslim colleagues at work are very surprised at my knowledge of their faith. I think some of them are also challenged by it because they themselves have a superficial knowledge of their faith, just as many Christians do.

  • Making arrows, circles and other signs on attachments

Greetings, In reading several posts I have noticed that some members here are able to bring particular attention to their problem by the use of arrows, circles, etc. on an attachment. I would like to do that also. Would one of you direct me to the software that you use to do this? Thank you.

Kevin, My post is a little late, but I would like to know how you put the red arrows in your attachment; also, are you using Logos 3 or 4. Thank you.

I agree with you Todd Phillips, I have read each of the postings here and I see nothing offensive in their tone at all. If there is something I sure missed it and I have read the postings several times in an attempt to learn from them. We can sensibly discuss Christianity, why can't we sensibly discuss Islam?

English translations of the Koran are often slanted in order to give a favorable view of Islam, leaving out passages that would be offensive to the Western mind set. Here is the weblink to a source that's been recommended to me. I've found it quite useful because of the extensive indexing by subject matter. It's reputed to be an accurate and trustworthy

I too work at my computer using Libronix either quite late at night or early in the morning. The startup music is quite shocking for me as I know that it's disturbing to my neighbors. I did not know it could be turned off until I consulted the support articles. Doing away with the music is not necessary as many users probably enjoy it. However having

Greetings, Inter-Varsity Press has a new publication by Craig Evans entitled "Fabricating Jesus: How Modern Scholars Distort the Gospels". They provide several excerpts that make for interesting reading even if one were to decide not to purchase the book. http://www.ivpress.com/cgi-ivpress/book.pl/code=3318 Unfortuantely this book is not among his many

If I were you I would check the requirements for running Logos 4. It sounds to me as if your pc might not be fast enough to run Logos 4 without it becoming sluggish.
