I too work at my computer using Libronix either quite late at night or early in the morning. The startup music is quite shocking for me as I know that it's disturbing to my neighbors. I did not know it could be turned off until I consulted the support articles. Doing away with the music is not necessary as many users probably enjoy it. However having

Thank you for letting me know that my question is not in accordance with the forum's guidelines. I respectfully withdraw my post.

Thank you Denise for your reply. Unfortuantely I do not have a printed copy of The Encyclopedia of Christianity and after checking my Logos Library I find that I don't have an electronic copy either. I am presently googling to see if I can find a copy of it online. Your help is much appreciated

Pam, would you give me the weblink to that website. I would like to listen to that discussion. Thank you.

Has anyone downloaded and installed IE 10? I am curious as to how this new Windows browser will (or will not) be compatibile to Libronix. Thanks.
-
Dave, Thank you for your reply. I had forgotten that IE8 is the last Windows browser that is fully compatible with Libronix (no patch needed). So, uninstalling Libronix from Win7 Ultimate and installing it on Windows XP Mode will work even better than I had thought.
-
Thanks for your replies. My operating system is Win7 Ultimate. It has the Windows XP Mode. I am thinking of uninstalling Libronix from Win7 Ultimate and installing it on Windows XP Pro which uses IE8. I can then download and install IE10 on Win7 Ultimate.

Great. I am happy for you. However I fail to see any relevancy to my post and your reply.

Clifford, Here is a web link that might prove useful http://william.meisheid.com/Knowing_God/Knowing_God.htm

Keep Smiling for Jesus: Thanks for the links and the information. One of my main considerations for retaining Win7 is its XP Mode. I have an Epson photo scanner that is in perfect condition that will not run under Vista or Win7.

Thank you for all the work that you put into your reply -the graphs and charts as well as the information. I will not be upgrading from Logos 3. I have reached the saturation point for both printed as well as electronic resources. What I must now do is to make good use of what I already have. BTW, I have pretty much decided NOT to upgrade my operating

I think to download and install Mozilla Fox as a 2nd browser to use for surfing the internet. It receives regular security updates so would be safer than using IE9 since MS would probably not be releasing security updates for it after the release of IE10. Does anyone know for sure what MS plans to do regarding security updates for IE9 after its release
-
Thanks Dave, especially for the info about IE9 still being supported by MS. I will stick with IE9.
-
Thanks to all of you who responded to my need for assistance. I have downloaded and installed the IE9 patch for Libronix. Subsequently I was also able to download and install the missing files in My Library.

Good day to you all, Right now I am studying The Book of Revelation via the Baker's NT Commentary. When I click on a Bible reference in the text Libronix uses the NABWRNT and I want to change that to the KJV. I have made a change in the Keylink Options, elevating the KJB to the action to be used first but this has not solved the problem. Any ideas?
-
I agree, this is indeed good news. For those who are anxious to get started now here is a link to a source that might be of use http://www.levsoftware.com/bible.htm The software does NOT use the voices of actual persons but I suspect that the Logos software will also use "electronic" voices. What I find helpful in this software is that it not only helps

George Somsel, I have read about the patch earlier in the forum. I have not downloaded it as I have not previously experienced any difficulties with Libronix and IE9 and the problem that I am now having SEEMS to be only one relating to downloadable files. I emphasize seems to be because I have obviously not taken inventory of my complete library.

Thanks Kevin, I followed your instructions and the problem is solved. I opened Baker's Commentary, pointed to a referenced bible text which opened to the text in the KJV.
