  • Re: New Notes Tool ( and Favourites)

hi David thanks for your reply. The new notes tool is great, except I suppose it would also be great though if it were possible if this were somehow addressed now as well, as all of a sudden hundreds and hundreds of pre-existing links to L7 note files seem to have stopped working... unless as you say I switch back to the old notes system, which I expect

  • New Notes Tool ( and Favourites)

hi all is it correct the new notes tool opens notes generically but an individual note file created in Logos 7 cannot be opened directly from the user's own favourites folder?? If so, then could it be made possible to open a specific note directly from the user's own favourites folder? thanks Michael

  • favorites backup?

hi does anyone know if it is possible to backup user created folders in "favorites"? I have added a lot of folders, and I'm concerned about an accidental delete of a "tree" of folders etc. If not a "backup", then also/instead a"history" with "undelete" to recover from a mistake? many thanks Michael

  • Re: SUGGESTION: DOCUMENTS (NOTES) LIBRARY with sortable tags

hi Jack thanks indeed, I did not mean I was waiting for theological/spiritual completion,..(.. as if..!..), I meant not yet ready to be presented academically to earn my Mphil/phD, where I have to pass a body of ideas off as my own work. which means holding fire until submission to the department or publication etc. I hope this helps best wishes Michael

hi Jack thanks for the email and the link. It will probably be clearest for other users, if I produce 5-6 typical types of Note files, of my various uses, with explanations. Many of my existing working files may relate to research yet to be formally completed,so it might not yet be appropriate to share them publicly. Nothing I've done with the NOTE FILES

hi Jack, thanks for your reply. Yes I was aware the original purpose of the NOTES function was for little notes added to texts. A few years ago I posted to the forums and even had email correspondance with Dan at logos about revising the function of note files, so as to restore them to their usuability in Libronix, with the SPLIT SCREEN feature, how

  • SUGGESTION: DOCUMENTS (NOTES) LIBRARY with sortable tags

hi can we have a LIBRARY resource Window for Documents NOTES, which remains open? Surely this would complete the usefulness for NOTES? Currently the only way to have a seperate library list of notes is to access them via the Logos website,as the documents notes window in Logos itself is only temporary, it is only open while used and closes immediately

  • Re: Crash when dragging resources after upgrading to Windows 10?

hi Graham thanks for your reply. It is working fine now, so I'm sorry for the misplaced post! I had restarted Logos about 7 times and my computer 3 times beforehand, but presumably it must have been with my computer rather than Logos. best wishes Michael

  • Re: resource opening in a nominated window?

H Graham thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I already drag the new resource to the panel I want, but the issue Is finding the resource which has just opened if i have abt 150 or more resources open spread across 6-8 panels. It is necessary to scroll amongst about 20 or more resources in each panel to find the new one which has just opened up before
