Peter, Would that it were so that we LE-and-lower edition users could type in the tool's name and access it; but it's not so. The best you get is a link to the Help menu's description of Passage Analysis and that entry's direction to select PA from the Tools menu -- which, of course, we can't do. Must give Logos its due on this one, however - the edition

  • Re: passage Analysis

William, Thanks for the information. After posting my question, I did some more searching and discovered that PA is only available at higher pay grades. Perhaps L4 help contents should be color-coded, or provide some other means of informing users when features require certain editions. In PA's case, there is no Help contents indication that it is anything

Carl, Just wondering whether you ever located the passage analysis tool? I watched a YouTube video, thought the tool worth exploring, went to my Tools menu, and like you, did not find a passage analysis option. In fact, my tools menu, in the column that's supposed to contain the Passage Analysis option, is different from the one in the video I watched

SUCCESS!! Thanks to all of your inputs, I learned so much about licenses and resources and account management, INCLUDING what turned out to be the decisive option of using Libronix 3 on a PC where the Ultimate resources were installed to update-then-sync my licenses. Once accomplished, Logos 4 magically knew (okay, I know it's not magic) to download

Thanks to both Daves for your most recent replies. Even though I have successfully installed Libronix 3, and would LOVE to be able to follow the steps the two of you offer, the obstacle that I think will compel the resolution of this issue coming from contact with customer service is that I can't run any kind of process off of the Ultimate CD. Implementing

I don't have an Ultimate collection installation at home with me tonight, but I am certain that the Libronix edition on the CD was 1.x. I have made progress tonight, however. Thanks to the help and encouragement from this forum, I have successfully installed Logos 3, copied resources from two Libronix-compatible applications, discovered their resources

Dave Hooten: Thanks for clarifying the consequences of the removal process. Your help will free me to proceed with the operation. David Wilson: Thanks for the additional information. I mentioned in my original post that my move to a Win 7 - 64 bit machine rendered the Ultimate CD useless, so I did have an inkling of OS incompatibility. As for license

Thanks all for your help! I don't know whether it matters, but the installation error when trying to install L3 to which I refer (i.e. that another installation exists) happened the very first time I tried to install it - there were no prior, in-some-other-way unsuccessful installation attempts. Does the uninstall process instigated by the download

Thanks, Rosie, for your prompt response. From other posts I had previously inferred the potential value of installing Logos 3 on this PC, and had in fact tried to do so. The result of that process, however, is a message that another version of Logos is already installed, and will have to be uninstalled before installing v.3. There are no options offered

  • Using other Libronix-based resources

Hi, I am now three days into first-ever Logos Bible Software experience. (So be gentle!) So far, so impressive. I will spend the remaining years of my ministry unwrapping Logos' many gifts to the curious user. Before Logos, I used something called "The Ultimate Bible Reference Library," a very good value-priced resource. The principal reason I moved
