• Missing resources

I have quite a few resources that do not show up on my iPhone. For instance, the I have the Eerdmans Bible Dictionary on my laptop. According to http://www.logos.com/iphone/support/resourcelist , this resources is available for the iPhone. However, when I search my library on the iPhone, it does not show up. In fact, if I search my library for "dictionary

  • Notes: Is there an easier way to do this?

Hi, I often want to add notes taken from Bible Dictionaries or commentaries to a Bible passage. To do this, I do the following: 1) Right-click the Bible passage to which I want to add the note. 2) Select the note file to which I want to add the note. 3) Highlight the text in the commentary that I want to copy to the note. 4) ctrl+c 5) Open MS Word 6

  • Re: Question on update

Thanks so much. I checked the resource directory and sorted the files by name. There I found some new files that totaled >400MB. Armin

  • Question on update

When starting Logos 4 this morning, I got a message that >400MB of updates are being downloaded. After downloading about 78%, I turned off my VPN. But since then, no update has any more appeared. Reading the forum, I thought the download would be version 4.1 but I still have version 4.0d SR-2 (4.04.4.3415). When I run "update now" I am told that there

  • Re: Reading plans

Hi Jeff, I am embarrassed to say that I don't remember what I meant by the "post" button. But I just tried it out: Change your reading plan on your computer to a Bible other than "NIV". Then press the Sync button in the right top corner on Logos 4 on your computer. Then restart Logos on your iPhone. It should appear there. Armin

This is incredible. Although I had played around this this for a long time, the above was still true. But as soon as I hit the "post" button and went back to my iPhone, the ESV reading plan was there and I could delete the "Read the Bible in a Year" plan. Armin

  • Reading plans

I just purchased an iPhone 4. Great device! Being able to have Logos on my phone made me switch from Windows Mobile to the iPhone. But now I have problems getting my Bible Reading plan onto my iPhone. As the NIV is not available on the iPhone, I made the reading for ESV (which I have downloaded onto my iPhone). I have only 1 reading plan and have it

  • Questions on messages in log file

I have a few messages in my log file that I would like to have more information on: 1) Many lines look very similar to this one: 2010-06-22 09:19:11.6143 6 Warn KeyLinkManager Matched override reference gnt/30896 in LLS:46.30.4 but there were no corresponding milestones for the headword/reference. 2) Similarly, I have many lines like these: 2010-06
You have to follow the wiki article exactly!
Thanks, Dave. It looks like I did some shortcuts. Let's hope this one works!
FYI, you might want to change your forum user-name so that spam bots can't harvest your email. Instructions are here: http://wiki.logos.com/Changing_Forum_Display_Name
Thanks for pointing this out. I was also surprised to see my e-mail there as previously my name appeared in my postings. When I followed the steps

  • Re: Where are notes stored in Logos 4?

Thanks so much, Rosie. Does this mean all notes files are now in one database file called "notes.db"? As far as I know, this was not the case in Libronix 3.

  • Where are notes stored in Logos 4?

I have an interesting problem with my notes. When Logos did a remote login to look at my issue, they deleted all my notes without warning me. So I want to restore them from a backup. What file(s) do I need to restore? Thanks!
No, document the problem and report it as a bug. You can re-import the notes when the problem is fixed.
How do I formally "document the problem"?

  • Notes have moved after upgrade from V.3 to V.4

Hi, I followed the instructions given here somewhere on upgrading my notes from V.3 to V.4. However, I just noted that many of my notes have moved. For instance, a note that is in V.3 at Acts 8:4 is now in V.4 at Isaiah 53:1. Does this mean I have to manually move all my notes? This is close to impossible! Armin
