I have to agree. I am considering canceling the prepubs of this series. I don't think there is anything in there that I don't yet have. It just has a nicer layout. But for this price it is not worth it. Armin
Based on the current pre-pubs of Lexham Bible Guides, the average cost of a volume is $36. If you assume that Logos

I have the old version and love it. When the revised version came out, I checked and was told that I would have to purchase it. When reading around the Internet about the quality of the revised version, several people were disappointed about the revision. So I did not upgrade. My only grievance is that the old version has lots of typos. I keep submitting

When I use the Bible Sense Lexicon in the OT of an interlinear Bible, the frequency bar chart always shows "0" as the chart only covers NT books. How can I expand this bar chart to also include OT books? Armin
I cannot reproduce what you seem to be describing. Can you post a screen shot that illustrates what you're seeing
I just noticed that this has also been reported in another thread with screenshots: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/58253.aspx?PageIndex=4 There is talk about a bug but I could not see that a Logos employee

Well, I am getting really curious now. At the following URL, http://community.logos.com/forums/t/58253.aspx?PageIndex=4 Sean from Logos provides the following screenshot: Now, when I try to so the same as Sean, I get the following: Sean gets all books displayed in the bar chart, I only get the NT books displayed. The left-most bar in the chart is Matthew

Well, maybe all people with the name "Sean" get more hits. Armin (AKA Sean)
I would also add that The Complete Spurgeon Sermon Collection is nearly at 80% at $75.00 . If you're a fan of older sermons (and don't have this in its older format), this could be one of the best value / quality resources still in CP. With around 3,550 sermons in the collection, you could have them indexed in your Logos library
Do you put the technical ones first? expository one second, devotional ones third?
Is there somewhere a classification that would help me find out what commentary belongs to which category? Armin
-
Agreed. Just a few days ago, I came across the same issue. It really would be helpful if a tab got docked back into the same place. Armin
Armin ... are you really being fair. Take for example 'Luke'. If you even 'tried' to purchase this outside of Logos, you'd be putting down $125. Now your price is 40% off of retail for the Lexham Bible Guide. Some of them are 50% off!! We're talking a BIG savings.
I am reluctant to compare print editions with e-editions.

For me, the best thing that worked is an unofficial mailing list created by HeiDoc.net . You get pretty instantly an e-mail if there is a free book with a link to the book. You can signup here: http://www.heidoc.net/mailman/listinfo/vyrso_heidoc.net So far, this service has been very reliable. Armin
Received this resource yesterday- looked at it last night, was left wanting. Anyone competent with Logos and notes can compile the same information. This resource is useful, but is it is way out of line with its pricing.
I have to agree. I am considering canceling the prepubs of this series. I don't think there
-
I really hope that Bob is reading this thread. To charge such a high price for a resource that only works if you have other very expensive resources makes this very expensive. Donovan estimated a cost of $3,000 for the entire set of Lexham Bible Guides. But then, this set is only helpful if you have Anchor ($1,900), WBC ($700), ICC ($1,750), Pillar

I am glad I am not the only one with this problem. Logos search is extremely powerful if you know the fairly complex syntax. I don't search often enough to remember the syntax so I have to keep searching on the wiki. Google just seems to know what I want to search and 99% of the time I get the answer within the first few hits. I really believe that

The Release Notes state the following: "Indexing is up to 30% faster. (The greatest improvement will be seen when completely reindexing; merging updated resources into a new index has much smaller performance gains.)" Does this mean that a complete reindexing will be faster than previously, or that my indexing will only be faster if I do a complete

Here is another update: After waiting for several days for Vyrso showing the highlighting in Rev.1:1, still nothing happened. I then added a highlight in Rev.1:2 in Vyrso and within 2 mins the highlighting in Rev.1:1 appeared in Vyrso as well. From all the testing I conclude that in some weird situations (and I unfortunately seem to have one of them

What is the best way to ensure Logos finds out about this suggestion? [EDIT]: Sorry, I just saw the "Suggestions" section on the forum. Will post it there. Armin

Hi, I will be traveling this summer and won't be able to check the Vyrso website every day for free books. I wonder if there is any smart way of automatically getting the free books that are frequently published on vyrso.com. Or do I need to give somebody else my username and password to "buy" the free books? Armin

Hi, I am glad that the notes syncing has vastly improved with recent updates of Logos4, Vyrso,... But I still have one issue: If I highlight text on Vyrso (iOS), I see them (as expected) on Logos4 on my laptop. However, if I highlight text in Logos4 (using the same highlight), it does not sync to Vyrso until I highlight something else in Vyrso. It seems

To make sure everything is reset, I even switched off my iPhone and turned it on before starting Vyrso and Logos on my iPhone. It happens in both applications. Armin
