  • Re: Question about doctrinal prooftexts

You can also try searching the LOGOS website for resources with "perspectives on" or "Views on" as part of the title. There are a number or resources like that on various topics.

  • Re: Question about doctrinal prooftexts

The Church I currently attend, their national / denominational / official website has a "What we believe" section which provides scripture for each doctrine. Perhaps the denominations you are researching have something similar?

  • Re: Logos. I give up.

David, I'm not sure if I can share the web site's address on the forums but there is a Mac parts vendor that sales all things Mac including the SSD drives *AND* a kit that includes all of the "Special" tools you would need to do the swap out yourself. They also have extensive video help showing the process. A little bit of googling will find them.

  • Re: How to Highlight & Copy/Paste from a MAC?

More or less the same way it is done with windows. In MS Windows you can use Crtl-C to copy and Ctrl-V to paste. On the Mac the "Cmd" key is the same thing as "Ctrl" in windows so on the Mac use Cmd-C to copy and Cmd-V to paste.

  • Re: No link to the source.

What exactly are you trying to have show up as a link in your note? The verse reference (Romans 1:20) ? or are you wanting to have the citation act as a link back to the resource? (Barton, B.B ) etc. When I select the text, right click & copy, I can then right click and paste into the note and the Verse reference works. I do however have to paste

  • Re: How do I set a link to my Logos/Faithlife account on my home page?

I saw this in a training video ( I think it was from LearnLogos(dot)com). You will need both Logos open as well as your account page open in your web browser. If you only have one monitor have both application windows small enough to see them both at the same time. With your account screen open in your browser ( logos.com/account ) left click &

  • Re: In Notes: how to do link a Bible Verse to an Alternative Biblical Translation

The following are links in action. This is using some text to "Hide?" the verse reference and attempt to keep LOGOS from using a default - prioritized Bible. This is typing the reference text but then selection it and applying a hyperlink to the KJV Bible. And this is typing the verse reference and allowing LOGOS to use the preferred Bible in my Prioritized

Follow this link to the LOGOS wiki. https://wiki.logos.com/Hyperlinks I tried a quick test and was able to get something like what you want to do to work. I opened the bible i wanted the text to display from. I highlighted the verse/verses. I chose the "Copy location as" option. This copied the address for the verses in THAT resource/Bible to the clip

Follow the link to another forum thread concerning the difference between LOGOS and Verbum. https://community.logos.com/forums/p/123048/803878.aspx A short version is that Verbum is optimized for users of the Catholic faith whereas Logos is optimized for " Protestant-oriented" individuals.

Will a screen capture sent to KeyNote do anything for you? (Shift - Cmd - 4) save to desktop and then import to Keynote. I am not on my mac right now. Will screen capture allow you to send directly to that app?

  • Re: Faithlife: Singular or Plural?

My guess, and that is all it is, is that it has something to do with how the writer views groups like corporations. I have seen this before when the writer is not from the U.S. and they write about a company like Faithlife. A writer from the U.S. will most likely say "Faithlife has done it again..." treating "Faithlife" like an individual, where-as

[quote user="Bradley Grainger (Faithlife)"] I've created a case for our developers to look into this bug. (I suspect it is related to macOS 10.11.6, since no one else has reported this crash and very few of our users are still running that version. But we will investigate and find out. There probably won't be any updates until after Thanksgiving weekend

Once you get to " /Users/ username /" left click on the "Go" menu and HOLD the mouse button down then while holding the mouse button down press the "Option" button. The "Library" option will show up on the drop down menu. This is how you get access to the hidden menu item. Or.... Optionally.... press Shift + command + G This will open a "Go to the folder

Thanks Dave, The more I thought about it as I was creating the first post, I started to remember something about.... versification (what a word ) but I had a hard time seeing where it could push everything off by a whole chapter. I can look up every thing (resource) you mentioned except for the LXX-R. I know that the LXX is the Septuagint but what is
