If you specify a Collection of bibles, then they will appear in alphabetical order of their title . The only exception is the base bible, which can be one from the collection e.g.
Thanks, Dave. I had used tags rather than a collection and received the dreaded ' There are no results for this reference...' message when

When using tags to select Bibles, how can e change the order in the Text Comparison tool? I tried changing the titles by prepending them with the publication dates. Apparently that didn't work.

Yes, please!

That would be amazing, MJ. I’m excited to see the end, result.
Hi, Nick. Just for anyone seeking similar: - Text Comparison sorts by title. either the system title, or a user updated one, if available. So, I edit the titles prefixing with published date and short abbreviation. I got the dates from the resource info in most cases, else, the resource intro. - I select a version with the apocrypha
An excellent chance for text comparison. I have mine sorted by translation date, so I can see the shifts in opinions.
Denise, do you place translation dates into the titles of the translations? Would you be willing to share the translation dates you have used? I was thinking about doing something like this myself, but

I just tested the river functionality using The Text of the Earliest New Testament Greek Manuscripts as the Bible for Matthew 1 and received the following result. Although Matthew 1 is contained only in P1, all of the texts in that series have lines in the river.

Thank you, Philana!

Issue #2 still seems to be a concern as I posted earlier.

I see that my concern is likely caused by Issue 2 in MJ's thread on the Compare Versions section .

It's particularly surprising because we do have the Hermeneia Jubilees translation . However, I would prefer Logos find a way to play nicely with all translations in commentaries.

When using the Compare Versions section of the Passage Guide with the following list of texts (NRSVCE, NETS (Primary Texts), The Aramaic Bible, DSSB, Antioch Bible, EOB: NT), I am noticing that it consistently lists a version that does not have the given passage. For example, going to Galatians 1:1-24 gives the following. However, it lists NETS for

Thanks for the great list, Rosie!

You could search Wikipedia for them from within Logos, though this would only work for those whose have Wikipedia pages and common names can easily yield false positives.

Chuck, it looks like it has been broken out into individual volumes. Searching for Etheridge's name brought them up. The Syrian Churches: Their Early History, Liturgies, and Literature: With a Literal Translation of the Four Gospels from the Peschito, or Canon of Holy Scripture in Use among the Oriental Christians from the Earliest Times The Apostolical

Etheridge is available here: https://www.logos.com/product/30594/early-bible-translations-collection I don’t see Lamsa, though.
I heartily support this wonderful suggestion. I would love to see more from in Logos from Herbert McCabe, the brilliant Dominican philosopher, theologian, and priest. The description of him on Amazon notes " Herbert McCabe was a Dominican Friar and theologian of outstanding originality who died in 2001. He was deeply influential on philosophers such as Anthony Kenny and Alasdair MacIntyre and poets
