Hi Donovan - and welcome to the forums. A great set of questions - I'll see what I can do to answer them but please post back if anything doesn't make sense.
Hi, I am new to logos and have some questions if anyone could help me. I have several different colors of highlights that I have applied throughout my Bible and I can

You get some very nice interactive tools: The Psalms Explorer gives a graphical approach to analysing Psalms
The Psalms Explorer is not included in the Starter Feature Set (but the Proverbs Explorer is) - at least that is what I see on my computer.
Sorry that was my mistake Thanks
I would be interested in knowing what the top 5 or 10 features are from the perspective of a heavy user. I guess currently I am pretty happy with what I can do with the free version, so I am trying to understand how much better it will be if I purchase the starter features.
Great question - I'll see what I can do

With the Starter package, by default you get the Starter Feature set which is described at https://www.logos.com/product/121388/logos-7-starter-feature-set If you toggle the ”Show” selector from “All” to “New to you” you will see what features you will get Does this help? If you aren’t interested in the features

Hi Dan - and welcome to the forums
There is a cross reference there for chapter 8:28, but when I hover over it, nothing happens. When I click on it, it simply says chapter 8:28, and then when I hover over 8:28 nothing happens. When I click on it, It jumps my Bible to the reference. It used to display the actual words of the
In PowerPoint (Windows) all this does is send a still image of the first frame.
Yes - support for exporting to Proclaim is much better in this scenario.

  • Re: Sermon Editor Useful?
My fear is from the possibility of losing all of that since Logos files are in a proprietary format that would be lost forever if something happened to Logos or if a paradigm shift occurred so extreme that a new fancier version of Logos made existing files incompatible. I don't expect that to happen anytime soon, but it is a
Why does the proverbs explorer tool include citations from the old and new testament in it?
Because there are more proverbs than in the book of Proverbs This was actually an update - the original release just included Proverbs - see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/122220.aspx?PageIndex=1 for a discussion of this
Is there a way to prepare a sermon doc on a desktop that has active links that would trigger the Bible verse in the split panel?
At the moment while the links are active on the desktop they are not active on the iPad - which is a real shame.
This is where I would think it to be essential to have a non-proprietary format or a format where the file/content could easily be pulled into (or recognized by) other standardized programs (such as MS-Word).
Just to point out that exporting the sermon document into Word is supported.
