• Re: logos won't open

Hi Eva When this was reported by another user in July 2010, the advice from Logos was to delete it and reinstall the application - http://community.logos.com/forums/p/19224/145056.aspx I would see if anyone else has some other suggestions but it might come to this. Graham

Hi Neil There was a comment on this at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/18894/142977.aspx#142977 which shows that Logos are working on it. I haven't seen an update on when page numbers will be added to this specific resource. Graham

  • Re: MP L4 Mac training manual on clippings

Hi DHG Yes this is possible (on Windows, I don't know specifically about Mac). Basically what you do is type some text into a clipping and select that text. You then copy the external thing you want to link to - such as a webpage - and enter it into the hyperlink field on the clipping. • Re: Search Help

Hi Floyd I carried out the search "greek:τεκνία AND greek:παιδίον " on my collection of Lexicons. Louw-Nida shows: 9.46 παιδίονc, ου n; τέκνονd, ου n; τεκνίον, ου n; υἱόςb, οῦ m: (extensions of meaning of παιδίονa ‘child,’ 9.42; τέκνονa ‘child, offspring,’ 10.36; υἱόςa ‘son,’ 10.42, respectively) a person of any age for whom there is a special relationship

    Hi Bob
I understand that there are times when either behavior is appropriate, but I suspect that the more commonly desired search is the ~ and not the = search.
I think the current behaviour should stay - just as when you use the menu to search on a selected word (option above reference) it searches for just that word

Hi Dennis I'm sorry but I don't understand what you are looking for here. In the recent change from LE to KF, Bradley outlined the changes in http://community.logos.com/forums/t/28219.aspx . They were described as: Here’s what’s changed (not all of these apply to all base packages): At Zondervan’s request, we’ve replaced the TNIV and NIV (1984) with

    Hi Bob
It's not even possible to search the lectionaries for a Bible reference the same way other resources can be searched, so the references can't even be checked manually, one at a time.
Sorry, I had missed this one - but I think this is possible as below: Am I missing something?
I have some ideas for minimising memory usage like 4.2a while still retaining the performance of 4.2; it's probably a little too late in this beta cycle to implement them without running the risk of destabilsing the build, though.
Hi Bradley Excellent - thanks for that. Hi Bob
Since you mentioned some weirdness in your resulting Passage List, I thought I'd try it out and see what happened. I copied the RCL for Advent (Year A) to the clipboard, and made a new Passage List from it. Hi Bob I have heard this also - but the more I think about it the less convinced I am! I have a (small) collection which contains resources looking at language issues including Word Pictures in the New Testament and Word Studies in the New Testament. They both talk about being pure / unsullied as per: Sincere (εἰλικρινεις [eilikrineis]). Old word of
