• Re: Can't find notes

Hi Kim Try opening the visual filter resource menu in your Bible (click the three dots icon), scroll down to the "Notes and Highlights" section, open it and see if there is a "Notes Document" listed there that isn't enabled. If so, select it and see if your notes appear. Note, this screenshot is from Logos 8 so your system will look slightly different

  • Query about Footnotes in Print / Export function

This was originally discussed at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/140647/1046306.aspx#1046306 but cross-posting here. In the current stable release (8.4) if you have footnotes disabled in a resource then when using the "Print" function from "Print / Export", footnotes are not printed. However, with footnotes disabled in a resource, the "Export"
I tried this, and it does not work. Footnotes are still displaying in the RTF file. i unclicked the "Show Footnotes on Page" setting, and ensured there was no tick.
If you set "Copy Footnotes" to "No" in Program Settings you won't get footnotes in the exported document. But I do find it strange that the "Print" function

  • Re: Resource used in Notes delcared 'unavailable' when clearly it isn't

Hi Sherry It does seem strange but I'm afraid I can't reproduce this as I am using Logos 8 with the new Notes System whereas I believe you are using Logos 7. So when I highlight the resource everything seems fine but it is using a different tool. It is possible that the issue was resolved in the upgrade but I can't confirm that. I recommend upgrading

The original issue was reported against using the Print command - and this still seems to work as I explained above. However I agree that if you choose the option to Save to RTF (or send to Word) then you do get Footnotes whether

    Hi Mark
I probably have no track record -- but would be helpful to allow people who have spent X amount on Logos be exempted. I've just tried this and it seems to work as I had hoped. So, I'm testing using the workflow "Christ-Centred Sermon Preparation | Hebrews 1:1-3 Comments I make in the workflow are written to the corresponding notebook but, because I have disabled the notebook from within the Bible, the notes don't show there. Adding in another comment updates the notebook

  • Re: PREFERRED BIBLE TRANSLATION

Hi Joseph All notes created in a workflow when studying a passage are linked to both the workflow and to your Bibles. They are associated with a Notebook with a name relating to the workflow itself of the form “Workflow name | Passage” If you disable this from showing in your Bibles - you can do this from the Notes and Highlight section

Hi Michael - and welcome to the forums Sorry to hear you are having performance issues. I recommend starting a new thread in this forum and we will try to work out what is going on. This capability has been restored in 8.4 - but in a slightly different way. From the release notes: Added a new Set preferred Bible to [resource title or abbreviation] command to the Go Box. Users can add shortcuts for specific Bible translations can to the shortcuts menu for quick access. Does this give you what you want?
