2. Some of us don't see how this relates to Faithlife software and its use
I think it absolutely relates to Faithlife software as Faithlife is fundamentally Bible software, and in today's "cancel culture" we could be moving toward laws being passed that identify and ban the Bible as hate literature. I am sure that I
I'm interested to read why you are enjoying using Logos 9. What features make it better than Logos 8?
For me the answer would be the new and improved FactBook and the counseling guide. The FactBook is a good starting point for study. Also, for me as a pastor, the counseling guide is a good starting place to prepare
Is anyone else running into this, and if so, have you found a resolution?
Yes, it is a frustration, but no I haven't found a resolution. I use Replace with Passage everyday but it currently is broken. There is a post in the desktop beta forum addressing this topic. Faithlife is aware of the problem. https://community
this has always been a feature I use daily. Very disappointed it is not working. I've exhausted efforts trying to get it to work.
I use this daily as well and have tried every possible resolution to get Replace with Passage to work in Word... hopefully this will be fixed soon!
2. I am running Mac OS 10.12.6 (I am not able to update past this version because of the age of my computer
One possible solution: I have a friend who installs newer versions of macOS on older Macs and they work fine. You can do a google search for "how to install macOS on an unsupported computer" to get more
I'm a traditional outline organizer and that isn't even possible to do if you use the headings.
Me too! My sermons tend to have 6 heading levels but the formatting in Sermon Builder doesn't allow for indented outlines in the main body of the sermon and the formatting options are extremely limited and/or time consuming
Totally agree! This was uncalled for. I appreciate getting the free book of the month earlier, but I didn't need to waste time clicking on this email, as if it was "something new" that was being offered.
I saw that too... must be the Canadian exchange rate.

Another work around, is to in the Logos desktop app library select the resource(s) you want on your mobile device and then in the Library's information panel choose download to the mobile device & FaithLife application you want.
I specifically cater to teaching those that struggle with addiction
Have you ever thought of starting a Logos users group? 😜 I am sure there are more than a few here in the forums who are addicted and a Logos addiction can be costly. There are probably a number of Logos user spouses who would welcome an intervention
because a church won't invest a less than a tenner for each of its worship team
I’m not in agreement at all. Your implication is that we are being cheap. When it is not like as a church that we don’t already invest significantly in our media ministry, which includes paying for a FAITHLIFE Equip/Proclaim annual
You may well be right Hugh but perhaps changing the Keyboard shortcut to Cmd+Option+Ctl+E for 'Replace with Passage' in the Services menu as Livi has suggested might help a little.
To make life easy I changed it to Ctl+. using 2 keys is much quicker and easier than using 4 keys.

Personally, I think it is rather silly to make people serving in a church's media ministry to have to purchase Bibles under their own user ID to use in Proclaim. It is not like anyone is going to be using Proclaim for their own personal use! If they are using those Bibles in Logos or the FaithLife Bible app or the web app, then they should have to purchase

Thanks Gregory! Great job on the video and very helpful comparison. Now I must resist the temptation to covet
Does monthly payments automatically expire after first month of use or do i have to initiate a cancellation process.
I suspect we'll hear more from early adopters at this stage of testing, than from FL.
I think the issue might be the following: 2020-11-10 23:41:07.2046 ERROR 35 DocumentManager | Could not load document: Kind=ReadingPlan, ID=Document:ReadingPlan:488aa4bb776e418f9fd90ff045f9d14b, Title=Kingdom Bible Reading Plan It seems that you load Logos to a layout that includes this Reading Plan, which somehow is broken.
