• Re: L8 Launch Week Questions

Hi Daniel. I was wondering if and when the web app will catch up with all the features of the desktop app. This isn't a big deal at all for me at the moment because I use the desktop app for study and the webapp for reading but I was just wondering if there are concrete plans afoot to remove the gap in functionality. I'm not even sure if this would
Phil, The web version, https://app.logos.com/, is hard to find from the www.logos.com page. It should have a link, if even next to the forums link at the bottom of the page. I found it bycoming to this forum and reading your post. Otherwise, it doesn't get much publicity.
I would second this. I have the app as a

  • Re: Logos 8. Day 3

3rd'ed :-) I think as well as the software itself being faster, the user interface seems more efficient as well. A couple less clicks to do things etc. I love the indexing speed now. Before my computer would spend ages indexing but now it seems to be done in a few minutes.

  • Re: Initial Reaction to L8?

My personal opinion is that L8 is fantastic overall. I think Faithlife have a lot of work still to do in finishing off features but I'm guessing that with such a step change in the program we could have everything finished before a release in 2019 or something a big step up from L7 with faithlife "to do" list they are working though. I am very happy

  • Fantastic

Thanks Faithlife. Logos 8 is a real step up from the previous versions. I think features like the Canvas and workflows are brilliant . My initial impression is that Faithife have hit the bulls-eye with this one. As well as the features, I also love the new look and feel. The whole package just feels more professional and solid. Well done and thanks

  • Re: No NEW Journals - why not?

I'm not suggesting there isn't interest beyond this group (I know there is; our Pre-Pub numbers demonstrate that). But I was a little surprised to learn that there's a relatively small group of folks who are really engaged in the journals conversation. I don't think we should conclude too much

  • Re: No NEW Journals - why not?
I'm going to say it again...only about 5% of the Journals that FL has provided thus far ever show up in my Logos links (or my hard copy bibliographies, for that matter). There are about 15-25 journals that turn up regularly in my bibliographies and links that have literally thousands of references in Logos, but they remain

  • Re: How to search across Logos, Verbum, Noet and Faithlife eBooks
It's annoying having to search across three or four sites to see if you can buy a book in Logos format. So I created a custom Google search engine to do that for you. https://cse.google.com/cse?cx=018444503071280337727:xatvw7vqneu It's no good for browsing, but if you already know the name of the book you're looking for, it
This is an interesting CP. I don't want/need it, but some do. https://www.logos.com/product/65159/lexham-english-bible-leb-with-audio-old-testament CP funds half the cost (FL funds the other half). And there's some sort of credit too, when it ships. Even so, it's not yet half of half funded. But my guess is that the BW closure

  • Re: Recent additions.

Just to say that the updates can get in the way of you viewing your latest purchases but I think this is the only way of doing it automatically. You can also tag your books with personal tags so I guess you could tag each book you buy with the date that you purchased them if you needed to be really precise. Then when the book updates you would still

Thanks for this . Quite often the warnings don't seem to do anything too dramatic to the final book but the error would stop it. Thanks for letting me know what happened and how you corrected it. i build quite a few books so it will be useful in the future.

Hiya Josh, Each month there will be courses on sale. Well there has been for the last couple of years at least. CP is the cheapest way to buy courses and FL seem to add one every few month.
