• Re: Has Letter to Romans been studied at secular law schools?
I will add that Elijah's logic in his confrontation with the prophets of Baal was studied by a class I took at a secular university in the "History and Philosophy of Science" department.
For posterity's sake, best cite which school, class, year, and professor.

  • Re: Morris Proctor's Seminars

John, I have mixed feelings about this situation. I purchased Camp 1 and Camp 2 on disc back after L6 came out. That is almost $500 invested just in the Camps. Then comes the new L8. My concern is are we going to have to invest this kind of money every time Logos updates the program? The program is already expensive, and then having to pay more to learn

  • Re: NEW30 Sale is Fantastic!

Is there a quicker way to view the items in the sale? With hundreds of pages, it is hard to comb through it all. Is it one of those things, you put something in the cart, add the code and see if it sticks?

I am studying with TNARS (The North American Reformed Seminary), and all class work papers are to use MLA 8th edition. Before this, I have used Turabian for my classwork at a different school.

  • Re: List of Puritan resources available in Logos

Well the difficulty is there is no one codified definition of what makes a Puritan so. As I mentioned before, even the time frame of the Puritan era is debated. In other words, how to define "puritan" is the challenge. The examples you gave are pretty much agreed upon to categorize as "Puritan", but others such as Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon

Your computer should have a tool called "Snipping Tool"... it is marvelous. Better than screen shot, IMO.

  • Re: List of Puritan resources available in Logos

Just an obvious question, have you searched Logos for "Puritan"? Mark Barnes may be some help on this one. Maybe it is done by time frame (depending on which time frame you give the puritan era). Not sure... this may be one of those you have to do manually one resource at a time.

I have just started a class with TNARS on Covenant Theology, and as they will be teaching from the WCF side, I am digging deep to understand the Baptist side. Of course, I am learning there is not just one view. The SBC guys (Wellum, Schreiner, etc), are not 1689, but are Progressive Covenantalists. Did not even know what that was. Still not clear on

I was blessed to hear him at a conference in 2003 Jacksonville Florida (at the time the shuttle Columbia exploded). His exposition and delivery was definitely top notch and was noticeably better than his peers. He was and will continue to be a blessing to God's church.
