• Re: sync reading location between devices

I just noticed that if, on my computer, I click "Resource information" (the circle with an 'i' inside) for the book I'm stuck in, there's a "Devices" section. The device (phone) I was using to read with has a checkmark beside it. What does that mean/do? I.e., what would happen if I /un/checked it?

  • sync reading location between devices

I'm reading a book with Logos. Not my favourite way to read, but I used my "birthday money" and so it goes... Anyway, I decided to try reading on my phone. It's OK, but I got stuck with a footnote that fills the screen and I can't make it go away (I posted about this elsewhere). I thought I'd be able to go to my computer and that Logos would 'sync'

  • [solved] can't close footnote that fills entire screen

I opened a footnote that fills the screen of my Android device. There's no place to tap the text outside the footnote balloon in order to close it. I can't find any way to return to reading--I've tried using the 'back' button, pressing and holding the screen (hoping for a pop-up with 'close' option), tapping all around the edge of the footnote balloon

  • scrolling with ParaTExt broken [fixed]

I have no idea what happened, but a few days ago Logos6 and ParaTExt 7.5 stopped scrolling together. It's always been a bit sketchy, but this time it wasn't working at all... Frustrating! Anyway, I dredged up some instructions ( https://wiki.logos.com/Smart_Tags#Using_Powershell_to_fix_Smart_Tags ) and ran the commands and scrolling now works again
As far as ParaTExt & Logos not talking to each other...I wouldn't be surprised if it's an issue with ParaTExt still trying to talk to L5 instead of L6 (assuming you're running L6). FWIW I have the TW Logos edition and my only complaint is that the resources weren't developed to the same standards as normal Logos editions
I would actually prefer a scrolling menu rather than a click-to-expand menu. If hover-to-expand would work (and work FAST/Instantly), I would be happy with that as well. I simply don't want the bother of needing to execute extra clicks.
It shouldn't require an extra click. I'm thinking of behaviour similar to that

I wonder if 2/3 the height of one's monitor would show the whole list for a whole lot more users

  • SUGGESTION: expand right-click context menu

What's the reasoning behind having a scrolling right-click 'context menu'? I think this is the first one I have ever encountered in a Windows environment (going back to 3.0). It's not as though there's not enough screen space to accommodate showing the whole list... My difficulties with the current right-click context menu are: 1. important (to me)

Where did 'report a typo' go? I used to be able to right click a word and use the item in the context menu, but it's no longer there... That's where Help says it should be found. I think I've just been updated to 6.3; did it change then?

Thanks for the screencast, Reuben. While I will agree that the scrolling is close , it is not bang on... For example, there's a brief pause in your scrolling at 0:04, when NLT--the 'leading' resource--is at Gn. 13:1 (in the reference bar), and at that point all the other resources are still at Gn. 12:19. That's two verses off. Even that would be an
