(I wasn't sure where to post this so I chose Notes because that is the function that is initially bugging me.) I just upgraded to LOGOS 8 and discovered two problems with notes in my first couple days of use: One is the way adding cross-references (Anchors) works usability-wise (I've addressed this to the development team). The second is that an active

  • Creating a link to a library book in a Scripture Note

Is it possible to create a link to a book in my library, even a specific location in the book, in a document/scripture note? I came across something in one of my books to which I'd like to create a direct link from a note attached to a Bible verse, rather than copying and pasting the information into the note. If that is not possible, is there a way

Thanks MJ, your "Tip of the Day" works great - a lot easier than having to copy the note contents, create a new Reference note, and then deleting the original note. Regarding your comment, "I can't get it to faile that way...." Following your procedure, if you look at the original translation anchor verse after you create the second attachment point

Do you, or anybody, know of a quick, easy way to correct notes that are not correctly attached to a reference? I tried using the "Edit attachment Points" option, but it added a second note. It appears to me that I'm going to have to recreate those notes by creating a new, properly attached note, copying the content from the original note, and then deleting

thanks Dave. That's good to know. That is probably why some of my notes appear across resources as they should. At some point, I probably selected the Resource and was "automatically" working with the the default. Then, recently, I must have accidentally clicked on the right-side of the pop-up, resetting the default.

Thanks Doc B. Looks like a user error. You prompted me to look at the help, and it describes a step I haven't been doing -- selecting the Reference or Selection on the right-hand side of the pop-up. I've been attaching notes for years via the tablet app, which makes it clear whether you're attaching to the reference via the "slide switch". I started

  • All notes do not appear across Bibles

I just noticed that my recent notes are not appearing in all my Bibles. I have not noticed this before, though that does not mean it is new behavior for Logos 6 and/or since the Synchronization code update. I am running 6.6 SR1 on a Windows 8.1 laptop with 16GB memory and an i7-5500U CPU @ 2.4GHz. The Bibles on my ASUS tablet app have the same behavior
