    so I guess at what point does someone draw the line between the mystical experience with God and the aberrant experience with ??. In answering that question in a preliminary stance, I would say the biblical text is the boundary line. But then again what about my eastern orthodox friends? A conundrum.     Great suggestion. So let's say I was looking for resources that shows the mystical side of being indwelt by God. I enjoyed Beale' book, but now I'm looking for something that is more on the side of ancient spirituality. Do the Fathers (mothers) talk protractedly about this lifestyle? What about the Monastics and the early Greek (Christian) writers?

    I'm reading an article on John Bunyan in Issue 11 in the Christian History Magazine and under a picture of him in jail it reads; "'As I slept, I dreamed a dream."' Searching for that phrase leads me to page 211 of A Concise History of Christian Thought where it expands and explains the phrase. My question is, How do I tag the search result to the article

    Does anyone know of a devotional/meditational on Romans? Not looking for a commentary, Lord I got enough of them! Just something that works through the Book. Either ancient or modern authors. Not denominational specific. Basically something substantive. mm.

    But don't you think that at the end of the Fathers' era there WAS a coherent stream of thought in doctrines? How far apart could they have been as to warrant a: "gee the Fathers weren't all together in their beliefs so a 'single theology' couldn't be gleaned from their writings?' Are their writings that far off from each other to give the impression
