  • Re: Feedback: Do you know the "Exploring the OT and NT" collection?

I have the first vol., 'The Pentateuch.' I used it for one of my classes on the OT. If you're looking for just a summary of the Pentateuch, then this is an ok resource. You're not going to get anything of real indepthness here. There are no colour pictures, there are a handful of charts and some drawings. If you've already had any OT courses, whether

  • Re: Camp Logos to coincide with Desiring God conference?

Great idea. I know a lot of guys who travel to the Conference who come a long way. If you're living far from a Camp Logos it's not always feasable to travel there. But to have the Camp coincide with a pastor' conference would kill two birds with one stone. I would have certainly gone to the Camp had I know there was one the last time I went to his Conference

It would be great if Logos would publish the 3 volumn set of "Readings in Christian Theology" that accompany Erickson.

  • Re: New World Translation?

"Easier said than done." Not really. Fortunately it's been very easy to get whatever I've asked for. I attended a Memorial Service this past Tuesday at one of our Kingdom Halls in the City. It was very nice to see the Witnesses, adults, sincerly worshipping Jehovah. The kids were another story though, but then when we see the kids running around in

  • Re: New World Translation?

Fortunately I have all the WT material on a DVD as far back as 1950. Very good information, including the NWT. I received this from a Witness friend last week and have found it very usful for understanding what the Witnesses are thinking and how they view those (me) outside the organization. As I mentioned in a previous forum, I'd like to see all of

  • Re: Indexer keeps crashing

I had the same problem after the update. I called L4 and a second level tech, by the name of Mike, took over and I believe he deleted the supplemental index files. After doing that, it worked great. If one of the guys can either add to this or even walk you through that, it may resolve your problem.

  • Re: Theology Books

Knowledge That Leads to Everlasting Life - WatchTower and Tract Society, 2006 Great Theo., from a WT perspective. Many others are certainly worth the cost of buying to use when our 'friends' come a knocking. Reeds, Martin, Coveney, Zacharias, Schnell, McGregory, Peters, etc., are good resources to use to refute and lead Witnesses to see the truth behind

  • Re: "no licence to view" something I'm viewing now

it seems that in every case I get the same message. Every journal that is referred to in a sub-note or otherwise can not be opened by the link. I wonder if this is an issue in The Expositor's B. Comm.? I'm in Vol. 1 of the Commentary. I'll see if this happens in the other volumns. I'm not sure if this problem will occur when linking to a non-journal

  • "no licence to view" something I'm viewing now

L4 informs me that I don't have a licence to view an article in JETS and I have to purchase it. That's not a problem, however, I have JETS and am viewing now. Any idea if this is a glitch or something else?

Hi Emery, After you Captured it the Snagit Editor appears with the capture in it. You need to do a "Save As". Save it to where you can find it. When you want to paste the capture in to the forum you need to Attach it with the paper clip shown above. Then you need to find your saved capture with will have a .png ending. That's it. Hope this helps and
