• Re: Bob: Why can't we satisfy both parties?
I thought the same thing a few minutes ago, and nearly posted it. However, I didn't post it because that would mean Full Feature Set people would be locked into the L7 features,
From a Faithlife perspective this would also add a level of complexity that they are almost certainly trying to avoid. They already have

  • Courses Plan and Unlicensed Resources

Is there an easy way to exclude the pages for unlicensed resources in the New Courses Plan. Ideally I would like to have a "don't show again" option so I can consider purchasing when I first encounter the resource and if I decide not to purchase not be prompted again. Is this something that I can do now?

  • Re: Logos 7 P & C

Agree that either would be good, selfishly Pathway would increase the likelihood of me quoting "official" references. This is not just a problem on the Logos side, I think that some of the denominational publishers need a shift in focus and may be looking at lost of hardcopy rather than increased sales of digital. Also, not sure what the rest of the

  • Re: How much you spent and how many resources on L7?

A lot less that previous upgrades, actually this has been a bit of a trend as my library gets bigger the upgrade offers become less attractive. What I do expect though, but is hard to actually track/prove, is that I will get more value out of all of my resources. I actually tried to track value about 10 years after I first bought Logos so sadly I know

Never really thought about it before but these are written from the developers perspective i.e tell me about the feature then tell me how to use it. To make the feature attractive to users you need to sell the problem it solves before explaining how it does it. "In the Biblical Languages and Culture repetition..." "Knowing where these occur in any passage

Problem here is I don't think anyone can tell you why you should go for Logos

Mine says Portfolio V5 IH and I think the IH here equates to the LE mentioned above. There used to be an explanation in the FAQS about the two letter combinations, from memory one was the Library Level and the other was the feature set and one was ascending through the alphabet while the other descended. Don't think it was ever something to worry about
If I just wait I will be getting a free update to Logos 7 or just some of the stuff in Logos 7 added
My understanding is that if you wait you will get all of the features that you currently have in a version that is called "Logos 7 Free". My assumption here is that these will be updated to include at least some if not

Not sure if this option is implied in your email above but: You could take out a Logos Now subscription and spend a few days determining which of the new features in Logos 7 you want/need. If the answer is none you could then wait for the free update to arrive which I believe will give you exactly what you have now in version 7. You could also determine
Lazy is good in these sort of things!
After 20 years of Logos purchases I'm probably in the category that Faithlife most struggles with those with over 10k resources who are now filling in gaps and so are a bit more focused in their purchases. I long ago gave up the aspiration to be in the Guinness Book of Records as the person

  • Pre Paying for Logos Now

I'm sure that Phil Gons explained how existing Logos Now Members could buy additional years ahead of the planned price rise. This seems like a good deal but I can't find the post that explains how to do this. Do I simply have to add a Logos Now subscription to my basket and purchase or is there a special link?

I have upgraded my Standard to the latest Gold but will almost certainly pass on the Pentecostal and Charismatic upgrades this time as there is little that I would find useful. Personally I think that until Faithlife can do a deal with one of the major Pentecostal Denominational publishers the Pentecostal material will remain weak. I'll probably take
