  • Crash after startup

When I got home from work today I booted up my computer and then started Logos. 5 seconds or so into the loading of Logos I got the blue screen and a hard computer crash. Ever since rebooting my comp I cant get Logos to start up. Logos runs for about 5-7 seconds then it gives me "Logos has stopped responding" message and closes. I have gone through

I am currently on Hebrew video 8 I believe (verb stems) and am following along and performing the exercises without a hick-up. I have the Scholars library minus BDAG/HALOT so these definitely are not required, in fact I have not felt that anything else is needed up to this point. Jason

  • Old Libronix books

Hey everyone, A buddy of mine found a copy of J Vernon Mcgees lifeworks at a local store and was wondering if this will load automatically into L4 if I was to purchase. I know I have read before that L3 resources will be usable in L4 but was just making sure that all other Libronix products would work as well. Thanks, Jason

  • Re: Other theological dictionaries in searches?

Is there a way of finding out which books are searchable before buying? If I would have known the IVP OT were not searchable I wouldnt have bought them.

  • Re: What are the criteria for "recommended retail price"?

Actually I do prefer the electronic copy and all that can be done inside Logos concerning those copies. But when someone, like myself who has no knowledge of publisher pricing etc, see such a price desparity it should only be common reaction to question it. Now honestly, I dont even want to know the cost that goes into switching a book to an electronic

  • Re: What are the criteria for "recommended retail price"?

I am quite confused as well. At least in the IVP instance you are actually saving money, take this account http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/WBC38A , I can get the exact new paper copy for $20 dollars less off of the Big book site. I have a hard time buying this on Logos (even though thats where I would rather have the book) and not feel ripped off

Am I missing something or is NICOT/NICNT sold only as a set? If so have there been any talks in opening up to sell individually? God bless Jason

Thanks for all the great replies. I'll need to spend a couple hours looking over all the suggestions. I know that a couple listed are a little out of my price range unless I pieced together book by book.

  • Top Five Commentaries

Hey everyone, I know this is a pretty broad question that will include varying opinion and usage. As a new user to Logos I just wanted to get a general concensus as to what are some of the better commentaries available. I currently have the Calvin Commentary on pre-pub and am really excited about getting in to it. Jason
