I can probably email the video file to you... But for some reason, I'm getting a 404 message when I try to attach it to a reply here on this thread

Happens every time I open Logos...the first note keeps a 12 point, which I set as the default. The very next note then offers 11 point...and every other one thereafter.

  • One More Bug: not holding default font size

Okay, this latest update did a lot of great stuff that improved Notes greatly...way to go! Still have an issue with font size... I have set my default font size for 12. So my very first note keeps that size...but the very next note goes back to 11. Any other text I copy and paste from another document into a note that I make automatically defaults to

  • The 8.3 "Fix"

First, the good... The default font appears to be working on all new notes! Even the ones where I am pasting text from another source into the note, it is defaulting to my default text. Great! Then, the "meh"... All of my notes/highlights appear to be accessible from EVERY Bible version in my library (before, it was only available in the version where

  • Re: New Bugs in Notes

After yet one more day of spending as much time reformatting my notes to my preferred font and size as I do actually reading and digesting the notes I'm making, I am REALLY looking forward to the next update...kinda like a kid at Christmas. Am I correct in thinking that date will be March 4? If I am, I am almost close to setting alarms and countdown

  • Re: New Bugs in Notes

Thanks, Phil, for your work. I realize that determining what to update and what to change is challenging. But if there are other pastors like me who want to make notes and get a little OCD about how their notes appear, then we can burn an inordinate amount of time in formatting instead of creating the notes and then more carefully study said note. To

  • Re: New Bugs in Notes

Am I to assume that the absence of any response from a Logos expert means that this problem is something unique only to me, that no one else sees this as a problem, and that I just need to find an easier formatting system for my notes? That the rest of the Logos world is fine with 11 point Trebuchet font and that should be everyone's default? That even

  • Re: New Bugs in Notes

Update on my issues... The default font I am using (SF Compact Text) is utilized when I type in notes myself. I am using that font for all of my resources as well. However, when I copy and paste text from, say, a commentary into my note, the pasted text defaults to Trebuchet. So I have to manually change not only the font size, but now I have to scroll

  • Re: Mac accents

The OPT- plus keys work However, since Logos is the one app for which you have to do that in a Mac world, I would concur that this is another bug that needs squashing.

  • New Bugs in Notes

I just upgraded to 8.2...and here are my observations and gripes: The font color is now defaulting to black...that's a plus. Much appreciated. The symbol and color of the icon is now changing to the previous symbol used...better, but I would still like to set a default symbol and color The font size is still 11, and there is no way to change it to a

  • Re: MORE problems with Notes

    Mick, thanks for the suggestion. Here's what I wound up doing (after I had calmed down a bit and started thinking it through I remembered that I had turned the Notes "off" so that I could access some note files that I had made through the years that had been otherwise unaccessible to me with the new Notes system (or, at least I thought they were unaccessible;

  • MORE problems with Notes

Great. Now I update to Logos 8.1.0.0016 and now my new notes won't show up as I marked them in the text. The notes are there in "Notes," but even though I have anchored them to the verse and I have slotted them in the proper note file that I created for them, they don't appear. And just when I was starting to see one or two new features about Notes

  • Changeable Default Requested

I'm burning up so much time changing font sizes, colors, and symbols for my notes. Sure would be nice to be able to set my own default. I know that's way, way down on your priorities list, but it would sure cut my time way down. Just sayin'.

  • When will we be able to change the default note settings?

It sure would save me a bunch of steps if I could set a default of the font/size/color/shapes of the note system. Please?

  • Prayer List Checkboxes

Checkboxes for prayer lists that I used on my home page were available in Logos 7. They disappeared in Logos 8. Now if I click on the card, I get the whole file opened up, so I have to work through that whole list and then close it to go back to the home page and open up the next prayer list. Can we get the checkboxes back on the home page for prayer

  • One more bug with Macs?

Here is something that I discovered this morning: When I tried to add on a phonetic symbol to a vowel (in this case, an ê), I instead was greeted with an eeeeeeeeeeeee. Is that a bug? Or is there a switch somewhere that I need to locate and change?
