I surely agree that the Complete BIblical Library is a must. I was just getting used to using it and how awesome it was when WSB went to Logos. I was one of those who uses a Mac, and has a large library so I was having lots of trouble using it, but had managed to get a workaround by loading only part of my library. The Complete Biblical Library on WSB

I agree the Thompson Chain Reference is a must. I’m very surprised it isn’t already available.

Thank you! This was very, very helpful!

Well, I did go and watch that video where you referenced it. I cannot figure it out from what it shows. It says to add it to the sermon, but it isn't at all clear to me how they added it to the sermon. I didn't find it helpful at all. The instructions weren't obvious to me. I hope someone here can help a bit more.
-
yes, it probably will help, but it is getting late and I don't think I better take the time to figure it out tonight. Much to do before I wake. Good thing I get an extra hour tonight. Thanks

I tried to do what you suggested about adding it to the topic guide (not sure if that was an issue or not) but it is not among the list when I go to the "add" dropdown at the top right. There is no dictionaries in that list.

I don't think I understand how the sermon builder is supposed to work. I'm trying to build my outline, but I can't seem to figure out how to put my notes into the outline that I have saved in my research. I hope this is possible.

I actually thought I had done that, but this time, after your prompt, I did it again and there it was. Thank you for your assistance. Not sure why all those dictionaries are listed as encyclopedias, but whatever!....

When I try to prioritize my resources Dictionaries are not listed among my types. Have I somehow eliminated that from my choices, and if so, how do I get it back? I don't see it among any of my resources to prioritize......

I am trying to prioritize my dictionaries and the New Interpreters Dictionary does not appear in my lexicons list. Or at least I don't see it there. How do I list it as a prioritized dictionary?

Oh bless you! This was the piece of information I was missing! Finally I can now do what I needed to do and find what I wanted to find! hallelujah!! and Bless you!!!!!

I have tried the passage guide several times, and I have a LOT of commentaries in my library. But when I do a passage guide, I never see commentaries in the list of items on the left. I see a lot of other things like: Parallel passages, cross references, important words, atlas, biblical places, biblical people, outlines, literary typing, and many more

I am so confused. I am a WSB newbie. I am wondering how to do a search of my commentaries to find anything that might be helpful on a particular pericope. I've watch lots of the mpseminars videos, but I think I am forgetting them as soon as I watch them. I am so discouraged. I was excited when If first started learning about Logos, but now I am just

I am new to Logos and trying to figure out how to create a sermon. I see lots of sermon guide help, but I am not sure how or if I can actually write the sermon itself within Logos. Is there a word processor in Logos? sorry to ask such a dumb question, but I am really impressed and kind of lost in all that is available in Logos. Thanks for your help

Ah! Thank you. Now that makes perfect sense. I hopefully will get to where I see that menu change. I had nothing else open as I was merely following the video and it didn't have anything open except the notes. thank you for this very helpful answer!!!!

The video shows four options listed when you click the arrow beside new note in the upper right corner of the notes panel. When I click there, I see only the option to create a new note and no other option, no option to name a new note as the video suggests and even as you suggest in that it is the first line of the note. There are no options as the

The video is one in a series that was on my Logos home page titled "Sermon and Bible Study Prep Series." In the top in small letters it says Logos 8, so I assumed it was for Logos 8. It is the third video in the series and it is titled "favorites, notes and clippings." At least I am pretty sure I am remembering that was the one I was watching. So do

I am watching some of the videos on sermon preparation. The one I am watching currently says that when I select the drop down menu that says "new note" after creating a new notebook, it will give me some options. It does not. It says to name it "new note on ......" there is no option to name it anything. It only gives the option to select a new note

I am a WSB newbie, so learning via the MPSeminars A-Z. I love the atlas!!! However I discovered that I cannot rotate the maps using the Shift key and the arrow keys on my keyboard. I am a Mac user with Catalina OS. I hope someone can guide me in what I am doing wrong with this. Thank you.

Thank you, Carla. That is helpful. I didn't know what to do with my multi-volume commentaries that I want to use. I thought I had to drag them all into the priority list. This is very helpful. I did discover that when I put them in the first five that stops the cycle with the arrows if they don't have an entry for the verse I am studying, so I wasn
