• Re: No NEW Journals - why not?

What I don't understand is, we have been begging for new journals for so long. And now that the latest batch of journals is being offered, it is taking so long for the Pre-Pub to even barely get past 50% interest. I would have thought it would have been faster than this!

  • Re: Carta!

Okay, Logos, may we have an update on where Logos stands with Carta? We have been patiently waiting (I for one) for years, but I really need to get these resources in a digital format. Once again, I have just learned that A is having a sale on Carta products, due to the high Holy Days here in Israel. So, would you please let us know what the latest

  • Books.Logos.com

I got this email today and I don't have a clue what it was talking about: "When you purchased Logos 6, you got a free, 2-year subscription to Books.Logos.com". What is this? I didn't know I had a subscription. And I have had Logos 7 since it came out.

  • Re: Books.Logos.com

Thanks, Ben, for your reply. I just wish I knew that I had had this. I hate to think of how many books scanned that I could have downloaded. Even if I had downloaded only one book per month, that is 24 books that I don't have but perhaps could use in my study or teaching.
Is anyone else surprised at how slow the funding is going for both of these?
I am. That is why I posted back in June saying how surprised I was. There had been such much activity and posting about "new journals" and then when finally the packages are made available,it has been slow going. Very disappointed.
I really, really, really, really, really want FL to be more active and effective at making more scholarly journals available in Logos. The majority of the journals in these bundles are denominational and ministerial in focus.
I agree!
I think a big part of the problem here is that Faithlife have gone for quantity over quality. A large number of the journals offered are not especially valuable academically — but the weaker journals cost the same to produce as the good ones. The solution to a slow pre-pub is therefore not to reduce the quality even further
The current issues with Logos seem to revolve around poor/changing/conflicting communication and way too many irons in the fire for your staff to possibly be able to focus on anything with excellence. I feel for you guys brother, I think you're doing the best you possibly can with what you've been asked to do. But at some point
This time it appears, to me at least, that all of the real action is with the features, and the new books that are included are a bit underwhelming.
Has anyone attempted to figure out how much of Master 3.1 and/or Master 4.1 are included in any of the L8 Base Packages. It looks like quite a few. Before the L8 announcement, I got this answer from my FL rep.
. I had 3.1 and have ordered 4.1 probably from the beginning when it posted. Yesterday I purchased the L8 Gold

I thought about going for the most expensive one as well, but I decided to choose the one I really can always use, since the topic is so related to so much of what I study and teach. Mobile Ed: NT202 A Survey of Jewish History and Literature from the Second Temple Period (10 hour course). It covers an incredible amount of sources. I haven't heard this
