• Download verse of the day posters shown on Logos app home screen

In case you don't browse the Biblia API forum.... I just posted there about the verse of the day posters which have appearing in the Logos 5 home screen. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/52627.aspx If you click on them in Logos 5 they take you to the verse in Logos. But if you go to the Biblia site for example... http://biblia.com/bible/esv/Ps65

  • Re: Bible Verse Posters
They are for our Verse of the Day widget: http://biblia.com/plugins In the future we hope to have an email list where you can get them each day, and a web site where you can browse them.
Thanks Bob - I saw these first on the Logos app home screen, they are great. I was going to ask if larger versions were available

  • Re: Learn to Use Biblical Greek and Hebrew with Logos Bible Software

Thanks SuperTramp Ignoring timestamp differences due to timezones (I'm in Europe) on the Greek DVD the only difference I found was in Greek Dative—the date was four days different and the file size was different. I'll have to review both disks carefully. Shame can't download just one lesson.

Same for me, I bought about a year ago and received DVDs, and not greyed out for me on website but I also see links to download files. I would be curious to know if the DVDs I have are the corrected files—there is no indication of a version anywhere on the DVDs. If I look on the DVD I see files from 2010 but then a number have dates of January 2011

(I find I am using Logos more and more, but this kind of search for all the lemmas in a book/chapter/passage is where I will still use BibleWorks.
Running: Asus VivoTab Smart tablet, with Atom processor and 2GB of RAM.
At the risk of saying what you don't want to hear... you are attempting to run Logos 5 on an under-specced and wrong platform. It is never going to work 'smoothly' and/or fast — unfortunately it's as simple as that. Again sure that's not what you want
Unfortunately, I forgot to take a sample, and it seems like you did too. They need us to use the Logging Utility to provide a sample, not just logs.
I have the Logging Utility downloaded, when I run it I see that the 'Sample' button is inactive. Do you know when exactly we are meant to get the sample, when Logos 5 is misbehaving
I'm sure this has been discussed plenty of times, but are there any plans to make Logos (even a future major release) 64 Bit? It'd be great for performance. The Mac app would also benefit from Grand Central Dispatch for multicore support.
It has — don't hold your breath. Logos has (has to have?) a lowest common

  • Logos 5.1a SR-2 (5.1.1.0623) Runaway CPU - have to force quit

Normally my Logos when idle runs at approx. 0.5% CPU on my i7. Today I noticed that the Layouts icon was continually rotating and checking iStat Menus (Mac monitoring app) I saw Logos was consuming 150% CPU (that's over multiple cores) and that in the space of a few minutes the CPU temp had already gone up 11°C. I did usual shutdown of Logos (Cmd-Q

You are referring to the 'Surface RT' tablet, not the Surface Pro? The Surface RT runs a different OS from 'normal' Windows, that the Surface Pro runs. Surface RT is dead in the water, it is the 'Zune' of the tablet world. If you have one sell it, or give it to your kids, and consider yourself older and wiser.
