Thanks for the detailed video Raoul, it shows your point clearly. Of course it's always a challenge/frustration when one goes from one system/application to another, especially when there is a certain task which in one system (which someone may be familiar with) that can be done easily. There are always going to be differences in ways of working between

  • Re: Word by word exegetical guide

Ahh... sorry I misunderstood you, thought you were referring to the whole section. Yes I concur that for a multi-verse passage it just expands out each verse - which becomes a bit of an issue if you mistakenly have something like a whole chapter in the passage entry box. This would be something that would be good to see in Logos - you can perhaps suggest

If I close that section the next time I bring up an Exegetical Guide either from the menu or by right-clicking on a verse (see screenshot - you may have to click on it, not displaying inline in forum software) it comes up collapsed.

  • Re: Word by word exegetical guide

There are a number of ways of doing this - personal layouts and so forth - the simplest way to do what you want though is to close that section, Exegetical Guide | Word by Word and close Logos. Next time you open Logos and then open the Exegetical Guide the Word by Word section will be closed. Of course also it is a good idea to not plug in a wide scripture

  • Re: L5 Mac Display Bug - Library Window won't disappear

I found that that happened once after I updated to 5.1 SR1. Also noticed that the book title links were not active so obviously some bug in the code. In the end by clicking the Library icon I could make the (fake) window go away. I say 'fake' because it is not a normal OS X window/dialog, it's some non-standard Logos device. You also cannot close it

Have you heard something substantial, from a reliable source, that points to a new version, or is it just a case of 'the grass is greener on the other side'.

Dear Mike Thanks for your posting. I do have a couple of concerns/comments though. Are you aware of what is saved in the System Information Report on the Mac? Along with innocuous information like processor type and speed there is information which I don't believe Logos users will be wanting to share with Logos and/or posting on public forum software
