In doing some work for a sermon this weekend I was reading in Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament (an excellent series by the way. I have not found a stinker among them yet) on 1-3 John. There is a blue line that runs all the way down the text on the left margin and several lines that run through any tables/charts, etc that in the text

I purchased a book last week and had been reading it. Went back this morning to work on it some more and it is not in my library. I tried the web app and mobile app as well thinking that maybe it just had not been downloaded to my computer but it is missing there as well. I have told it to update resources but no luck there. The book is Norman Giesler

It does show in my purchase history and won't let me buy it again so it seems Logos knows that I bought it.

Folks - Let me tell you the craziest story. I have been looking for the resource. Restarted Logos twice and even looked on the app on the internet and on ios. Not there. I decided to finally give Logos a call. I was on hold and guess what all of a sudden popped up in my library?? I don't know what the problem was but told the nice folks at Logos that

Thanks for confirming this was an issue with a Word update. Hope the wonderful folks at Logos/Faithlife will be able to create a fix so that the two programs work well together again. (By the way I have also noticed that when the reference is copied into Word from Logos that the volume number is not included when appropriate.)

I just bought a new macBook Pro and it has 16GB of RAM (the desktop has 8GB) and it runs much, much faster and better, so I would spring for the increased memory. Running L7 on my macBook has never been sluggish and

I noticed this afternoon that when L7 updated it must have done something with the way that Logos copies into Word and PPT. Normally when I paste text from a commentary or book into a Word document it places a footnote for the quotation. Very handy indeed, especially for academic writing. However, this afternoon while working on a sermon for Sunday

Super. Not sure how that got switched around, but glad that it was an easy fix!! Appreciate the help brothers.

Auto. I tried switching it to "Footnote" and this setting caused there to be no citation at all. :(

Thanks for the link. I guess I will just have to live with the inconvenience, at least for now. I know that there are worse things in the world. Still so very thankful for the power of Logos and the help it provides in sermon preparation.

Also, it is usually advisable to indicate that you are using an electronic edition of published work. I found when using several resources in Logos the page numbers were a bit different than the physical book when writing my dissertation. Indicating that you are using Logos Bible Software edition is a good way to head off any potential troubles. (The

I have not had any trouble using Logos in Sierra as of yet. Just recently updated to version 3.

Thanks. I agree it would be a great addition!
