• Re: Lemma vs. Strongs Number?

You are correct. I was merely responding to the question Lemma vs Strongs number. Yes, the word behind the Strongs number should be the lexical form.

  • Re: Lemma vs. Strongs Number?

The lemma is the lexical form of the word. That means it is how you would look up the word in a lexicon. The Strong's number should be a number, like G1234 or H1234, that would be how you could look up the word in a Strong's Concordance or any other resource that is linked to Strong's numbers.

  • Re: General Question on Links

This may be slightly off-topic, but what happens when a resource is removed and replaced with a new edition. I'm thinking specifically of the Textual Criticism book in the Lexham Method series. I'm going through BI206 (New Testament Exegesis) and the links to this resource link to the resource that was pulled. The links should be updated to point to
I own this collection, so everything shows up as regular price. My sold separately value is $398.90, while my collection cost is $429.99. Also, it is a 12 volume set, but there are only 10 volumes. This whole collection needs to be checked out by someone at Logos.
I initially thought the same thing about the resources

  • Apocalyptic Imagination

Logos has the 2nd Edition . But this resource is now in the 3rd Edition . Any way Logos can get the 3rd Edition? This looks like a very good resource.

  • Re: Month long reading plans

Here's how you can easily do it. Just go to Doc -> New -> Reading Plan -> Generate a Reading Plan. By default, it will say All passages, but you can click on that and set a passage range. To read that passage range multiple times, just separate with a semi-colon (;).

I believe you could just add 1 John 30 times to the reading plan when you create it. I don't know of another way other than a custom plan.

  • Re: Upgrade pricing mysteries

Was the Messianic Starter your first L8 Base package? If so, there may have been a 'first-time upgrade' discount that got used up. Not sure if that's the case, but it does sound like there was some discount that was being applied earlier.

The concordance tool should do the trick. It can be accessed through the Tools menu.

  • The Pentateuch as Narrative

I think this resource would be a great addition to Logos. Pentateuch as Narrative Looks like there's already a request on the suggestions page. So go here and vote.
I agree I bought Logos 7 Silver a few years ago and using Essentials to get the Logos 8 features that I want like Workflows and Canvas. So why are they offering a Library only upgrade?
The Library Only upgrade allows you to only buy the resources in a Logos 8 Base Package without paying for the feature set,

  • Re: Combine Two (or more) Series

Depending on what you are hoping to accomplish, there are a couple of ways I can think of. You could simply change the series on both. The downfall of this is you would lose the original series name. The other option would be to create a collection that contains both. This option would retain the original series name.

  • Re: My PARTICULAR Bible Word Study problem...

There's a good article on the TalkLogos site ( article ) that walks through what you're trying to do with a word study. Basically, you want to find a word in your passage that might be important to understanding what the author is trying to say. You look at all the ranges of meaning that particular word can take and see where else it is used. Then let
Mark, let me check my understanding- are you saying there is not a separate Greek word that is hupostasis ? I just want to make sure I am clear before I correct my paper.

Here's something that would be really nice... partner with www.academia.edu to have all their academic papers available on demand in Logos. One possibility would be to simply have them available in the "public" tab of our Docs menu (with relevant faceted browsing, of course). I would prefer a solution
