  • Re: Retiring the Send-to-Kindle Feature on 3/31

If I order a Kindle Paperwhite new now, I will have very little time to get it filled up with books. As I'm reading about some others doing this in batches - does that mean that is the only way to currently do it i.e. does it mean I wouldn't be able to do one big batch with everything I want to send to the Paperwhite? I know about the delay caused by

The new with the old. Yet another thread: The real Encyclopedia Br. is on CP (safer too) ... Be curious and look at it from an angle of what is valuable about it when considering bidding! Consider how complex searches You'll run in it compared to other available interfaces (DVD, the web), and the double-click! A fraction of us have read so much History

bump! Ask Yourself: Do I want content = data? Will I go with things like base-packages or other bundled library additions where I pay for somewhat new content but spend multiple times more? Maybe You are asking how can a public domain work have any value? Like has been stated this product is from a time in history that will not repeat itself. It is

  • Re: In 2016 What is the priority order of your Top 10 Bibles in Logos and why?

2016 prioritations as below, this is information remembered by heart - I do have a reading list with advanced prioritations: 1. 1971 RSV NT , the 1959 39-book OT being a lower priority and so far used mostly the 1952 Edition of the OT when reading the OT from it, because of availability. As You can see I prioritize it highly, this is a go to version

  • Re: Did anyone participate in the July Upgrade-Your-Package-Receive $25 Credit Promo?

Please be patient and wait until early next Month, they told me it often takes a few days more than 45 days. In fact I eventually had to turn to customer service and they fixed it. I still wonder whether it applies to the new "Biblical Theology Bundle" - if it doesn't I'm going to complain about it because it's hard to see the difference, the icon looks

Hi, Bob ! Thanks for asking for input regarding completely transactional ownership deals! I'll voice my opinion. Btw, I'm J Unix Cyklist, with my actual and active account I've posted 2020 times on the forums and have a very satisfactory library sans some language resources for which (and for several other things) I go to Accordance. This account I

I can't remember taking an evidences class, but the other day I thought I should have taken one when I was young, I could have grown more interested at that point. Other things in life took over until five years ago. Because of practical circumstances, I should have started studying religion on my own by ordering more books. Instead I was thinking of

  • Re: Faithlife Free Book - Discontinued???

Does anyone want to sell me some of their Cambridge Greek Testament (CGT) - volumes such as the Mt -volume by Arthur Carr which was the first book offered for free in the Faithlife.com Free Book program? Of a bit lesser interest also Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges which was a parallel series in the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Of definitive

  • WBC: the least Evangelical or most Anglican volumes?

In Your opinion or based on the denomination of the individual authors. Either regarding methods used or resulting exegesis. Also regarding whether how much ancient works outside the 66-book canon are cited. I have read about this series many times but only have the new volumes on Joshua and 2 Cor that came out recently. I was thinking of perhaps getting

  • Re: WBC: the least Evangelical or most Anglican volumes?

With this platform it's just too easy to gather too much Evangelical content, whether commentaries, language related features or collections from pre-pub. In comparison there's very little Anglican content, especially at a bit more advanced level. I understand there's a customer base explanation to all this but nevertheless I would need to know more

  • Re: WBC: the least Evangelical or most Anglican volumes?

    I'm probably buying (EDIT: I didn't change this list now but note that it's a little different from the list in my previous post): T. R. Hobbs (1985). 2 Kings Roddy L. Braun (1986). 1 Chronicles H. G. M. Williamson (1985) . Ezra/Nehemiah Douglas Stuart (1987). Hosea- Jonah John Nolland (1993). Luke 9:21-18:34 James D. G. Dunn (1988). Romans 1-8 James

Could You hint me as of which OT volumes are especially poorly tagged so that I can avoid purchasing them atm? I have most of Jer, Judges 1-12, Hab and Prv in Verbum; (plus 1-2 Esdras and Is 56-66 as printed matter and the complete NT in Accordance except the new Apocalypse -volume):[quote user="James"]I think it is quite obvious that hand tagging is

My print WBC books are on the way, the ones I specified on Aug. 3. 2:53PM. I had to change most of my cash € to afford paying for theshipping right now separately (seller offered without that I asked); I'm getting half of a payment from a customer Monday Aug. 10. with which (and an Accordance Gift Card I previously bought for myself) I can buy some

  • Re: Starting Over with Logos - Purchasing Strategies?

"Bundles" are the "Topical Bundles", those ones tend even to be small. On the other hand several of the "Feature Collections" - a pretty confusing name btw, are very large and I can't understand how to afford one without getting a payment plan + they barely discount them at all (I'm waiting for a coupon code that can be used on a Feature Collection

The ones I was talking about the most and still ask about are print books. I got the new Joshua volumes and the new 2 Cor directly in Verbum as an early-bird pre-pub order:[quote user="MJ. Smith"]Mikael, excuse me for asking but you keep mentioning the postage. Am I to assume you require these on disk? They are normally delivered as electronic downloads

It seems to utilize more cores and more modern CPU:s (which is to be expected) better than 5 when adding books and it's a much more seamless process now, and installs new software versions (such as service releases) fairly quickly (except perhaps for the download time as the updates are usually frequent and L6 is a few MB larger download than L5 was

I felt like very very few wished that I would come back, plus I'm starting to get fed up with buying commentaries: trying to maintain a good coverage of what interests me and updating to new sets by applying for a loan is starting to get tiresome. There's a new 2015 print Edition of the NIB (New Interpreter's Bible) out and I couldn't even find any

I'm here to learn to use what I have: books, features and databases, intellect, and develop a better sense of humour. I hope there's nothing left for me to learn regarding showing respect to others - i.e. I hope I'm over things and that nothing new will ever trigger me here. I developed further late in life so unfortunately I at times didn't know how

  • Re: WBC: the least Evangelical or most Anglican volumes?

At this stage Gnosis can come either by reading the right paragraph or page from the right book (Faithlife usually tries to design the features and datasets in order to help out with that, but the marketing, bundling and tens of thousands of books I'll never buy are a distraction) or by own research. Sometimes that can be combined but not always and

Yes it would seem it's possible to install it that way, first Noet 6.4 then the bug- and data-types-update L5.2b SR-10 or Verbum 5.2b SR-10 which were released yesterday:[quote user="Dave Hooton"]Noet can be installed along with Logos and/or Verbum - your choice!:[quote user="Brian Harris"]Will it even be possible to install version 5 after installing
