As a very long term user of BW (back when it was advertised as Hermeneutika!) I almost bought the going out of business price for 10, since I've been on version 8. Ultimately however, I determined that my reasons for doing so were not only emotional, but also unwise for the reason you indicate John. Ultimately there is no guarantee that BW will work
How much would you be willing to pay to have your notes and highlights from an old Bible transferred? What if the book was damaged or destroyed in the process?
I paid my kids to do it for me. They got to read my Bible notes, and I got my notes transferred. Well at least the ones they could read

    I'm grateful to find this thread and Mark Ward's post on the blog about this. I appreciate knowing that some form of importer will bring in my thousands of notes to Logos.

    I do the same Nord, like you I've been a long term user of both, but Hermeneutika came first on my ancient hard drive and familiarity just sped me along despite getting to know and use Logos efficiently. I have many thousands of chapter and verse notes in that program and I'm now contemplating the best way to secure them against the day that my BW just

  • Re: Software version parity (Mac vs PC)

    It means they are almost identical in features and functions but there are some differences. They are, as far as I know, minor.

    It is this way in Windows as well. I suspect it was supposed to make it stand out so you can add it to a slide by right clicking, but I would like to see it become a hotspot too.
I bought the set upon its initial release and even though the release dates have changed, I've not regretted my purchase.
This is my feeling precisely. I'm glad to see that we might expect more information in the future. But it would be really excellent if they would hurry up on the book I'll be preaching next. ;

  • Blanked out Sermon Document when I change verse format

    While working in a sermon Document in Logos any time I type a verse, let it fill out the slides, and then move to select a different format (ie. moving from Fully formatted to Block Paragraph) the sermon document goes blank and I have to close it and then reopen it to continue. When I reopen it, the document is where it was when it left off. It appears

  • Horrible bouncing title bar when scrolling

    Using Logos for Android version 6.0.0 It has been some time since I have used the logos Android app to read, but tonight is I scrolled through a book I've been reading I noticed the most horrible and distracting Behavior. With the book set to scroll rather than swipe from page to page, as I scroll the title bar continually pops down and then disappears
We're working on improving the reference range picker for non-versified resources by exposing the table of contents, which will allow you to search or run a concordance on part of a resource based on its content structure. And we're exploring how to leverage this same TOC structure in the reading plan creation process

    Hi Terry, Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately this is not a very helpful post, we need details to work with. But we'll do our best. Did it work before? If so what changed? What version of the program. What kind of PC or Mac is it? Do you have logs? See below on Logging: Mac logging is already enabled, Please see http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_TroubleshootingHow_to_Report_Bugs_in_Logos_4_Mac
