My apologies for ruining your opportunity.
Actually since we heard that Handouts part 2 was on the way I've not given it another thought. You probably kept me holy by pre-empting my rant.

Wow Bob, This has got to be (IMHO) some conflict with a driver on the new MOBO. But I can't for the life of me imagine what. Like Mark, I'm bummed you're having all this problem.

How are you scrolling? PgUP/pGdown? Arrow Keys? Scroll wheel on mouse? Center click scroll mouse? Trackpad stroke?
-
Thomas, any method I use to move up or down (pg up, arrow keys on keyboard, mouse wheel). But if I use the up or down arrows on the scroll bar to the right of the page, it doesn't flicker.
I'm not sure why it would affect your Bibles but not other resources, but the only time I saw jerky movement or anything like flickering

Matt, First let me greet you in grace because I can hear see you're discontent and I want to encourage you a bit. I'm not a logos employee, none of us MVP's are, but we know the company and I see in your message here that you've listened to us and others who have encouraged you to be patient. Thank you for that grace to us. Hopefully we can respond

Hmm... I don't know Mark. Part of me agrees that a single column advance might work, but I would prefer that the arrow key would do that, while Page up/down would still advance the entire page.

Part of me agrees that a single column advance might work, but I would prefer that the arrow key would do that,
The left and right arrow keys control parallel resource cycling, so wouldn't work on resources for which there is a parallel resource association. Maybe another key combo? Anyway

While playing around with the new reading view I noticed that it works great with the keyboard but scrolling with the center click scrolling not so much. As you can see in the picture below, I first have to move the mouse over two inches on the screen to get autoscroll to start and then it scrolls so fast that there's no way to read it.
That's what I was about to ask. I mean, who in the world pays $70 dollars for internet?
Obviously you don't live in the country. Out here in the sticks, things get a bit more expensive sometimes. It's called "taking advantage of the country-folk" The alternative here is highspeed dialup. Can you say 33.3Kbps? WHOO

Jason, I've run a few tests and I don't believe the footnotes are printed. That may (meaning, this is a wild guess) have something to do with copyright. Or it's an oversight. Yeah. that was helpful.

Stephen, I found another response by Bob to this one here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/21086/158331.aspx#158331 FWIW.
We changed the way notes on right-click worked because of a general consensus in user interface design that "cascading fly-out menus" are a bad idea.
What speed DSL do you guys get for that kind of fee?
Actually it's not DSL for me, it's a wireless radio pointed at the antenna on the tallest part of the Co-op grain bins. I max out around 1.5Mbps. When it's /really/ humid and the corn is high it'll drop quite a bit to as low as 250Kbps. Normally I get real numbers
